Best New Shows and Movies Coming to Netflix This Week

Enola Holmes 3 (2026)

Coming to Netflix: Wednesday

Millie Bobby Brown is officially back on the case! The smash-hit family mystery franchise returns for a highly anticipated third installment. This time around, Enola has fully established her own detective agency in London, but stepping out of the shadow of her famous older brother Sherlock (Henry Cavill) proves to be deadlier than ever. When a seemingly simple missing-persons case unravels into a massive conspiracy threatening the entire city, the Holmes siblings will have to team up once again. Packed with charm, action, and fourth-wall breaks, this is Netflix’s biggest movie event of the summer.

Human Vapor (Season 1)

Coming to Netflix: Thursday

If you are a fan of Japanese cinema, sci-fi, or intense thrillers, this brand new series should be right up your alley. Serving as a modern reboot of the classic 1960 Toho sci-fi film of the same name, Human Vapor follows a series of baffling, high-stakes bank robberies where the perpetrator seemingly vanishes into thin air. A relentless detective soon discovers that the culprit is a man who was subjected to illicit scientific experiments, granting him the terrifying ability to turn his body into a gaseous state. Check out our full preview of the series right here.

Dark Winds (Season 4)

Coming to Netflix: Saturday

AMC and Netflix’s licensing relationship continues to bear incredible fruit, and just in time for the long holiday weekend, we are getting the fourth season of the critically acclaimed neo-Western crime thriller. Based on the iconic Leaphorn & Chee novel series by Tony Hillerman, the show stars Zahn McClarnon and Kiowa Gordon as two Navajo police officers in the 1970s solving complex crimes in the Southwest. The writing is incredibly sharp and the cinematography is gorgeous. If you haven’t started this series yet, consider this your sign. Get the full release details on the new season here.
