Netflix’s brand-new teen drama series, Easton Prep, from showrunner Vivian Lin, is reportedly set to begin filming in Canada on September 8, 2025. Details are limited, but here’s everything we know so far.
Easton Prep is an upcoming Netflix Original teen drama series led by showrunner Vivian Lin (Sights Unseen) and directed by Bet and Warrior Nun’s Simon Barry and Jackie Gould. The series will be produced by Jeff Norton through his production Dominion of Drama, and Lindsay MacAdam of Great Pacific Media. Hillary Zwick Turner is also listed as a producer.

What is the plot of Easton Prep?
The synopsis for Easton Prep has been sourced from Production Weekly:
“After being disgraced by her father’s financial fraud, a teen girl must escape with her mother to a small town where she ends up being the only female rower on the team at her new prep school.”
Who are the cast members of Easton Prep?
At the time of writing, there are no cast members announced for Easton Prep.
What is the production status of Easton Prep?
According to Production Weekly’s report in issue 1468, Easton Prep is scheduled to begin filming on September 8, 2025, and is expected to conclude by December 10, 2025. This report is further supported by the production list from the Director’s Guild of Canada for British Columbia, which also lists the same film dates.
Hollywood North Buzz also reported the news at the start of August 2025.
As always, filming dates are subject to change as we await official confirmation.
When is Easton Prep coming to Netflix?
If the filming dates are correct, then we could see Easton Prep on Netflix in late 2026. It is also possible the series could land on Netflix in early 2027.
