Huge Indian stars Sunny Deol and Akshaye Khanna lead Netflix’s incredibly exciting courtroom thriller Ikka, which lands on Netflix worldwide on July 10, 2026. Here’s everything we know about Ikka on Netflix.
Ikka is an upcoming Indian and Hindi-language Netflix Original courtroom thriller directed by Siddharth P Malhotra (Maharaj) and written by Althea Kaushal (Noor) and Mayank Tewari (Delhi Crime). The film is produced by Alchemy Films, which previously produced the film Dial 100 and the television shows Doctors and Kaafir.

Netflix has confirmed that Ikka will be released globally on the streaming service on July 10, 2026.

What is the plot of Ikka?
Netflix has provided a synopsis for Ikka:
“A celebrated, incorruptible lawyer is arm-twisted into defending a murder accused, a man whose career he’d notoriously ended, pushing him to use every trick in the trade, ethical or not, to win the case because if he fails, he stands to lose everything he holds dear.”
Who are the cast members of Ikka?
Sunny Deol stars Sikandar Mehra. Deol is one of the most popular Indian actors working today and has been active since the early 1980s. One of the most commercially successful actors in the history of Bollywood, he has starred in massive box-office hits across the 80s and 90s, such as Arjun, Tridev, and Border. Since his career as a politician ended, his return to acting has seen him star in Gadar 2, his highest-grossing film ever, Jaat, and, most recently, Border 2. Over his four-decade career, Deol has starred in over 100 films.

Akshaye Khanna is highly regarded as one of the best actors in India, and has been active since making his debut in 1997 in the romantic drama Himalay Putra. He has starred in Indian films such as 36 China Town, Tees Maar Khan, Humraaz, Gandhi My Father, and Race.
