Netflix’s fruitful relationship with the Korean broadcaster continues. The upcoming K-drama series First, for Love will reportedly be available on the streaming service sometime in 2025. It will star Yeom Jung Ah and Park Hae Joon.
First, for Love is an upcoming licensed South Korean Netflix Original romance comedy series directed by Yoo Je Won, who previously directed popular licensed Netflix K-dramas such as The King: Eternal Monarch, Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, Love Next Door, and Crash Course in Romance.
When is First, for Love coming to Netflix?
According to the X user, ggonigon, who has been an extremely reliable source of information for K-dramas, First, for Love will be broadcast on TVN sometime in 2025, and will aired simultaneously on Netflix.

Netflix has yet to confirm that the K-drama is coming to the streaming service. It’s also unclear if its release on Netflix will be worldwide or territory-specific. We expect to learn more closer to the release of First, for Love.
The series will have a total of 12 episodes. Each episode will have a runtime of 60 minutes.
What is the plot of First, for Love?
Ji An, a 43-year-old single mother and construction site manager, couldn’t be more different from her 23-year-old medical student daughter, Hyo Ri. Together, the pair begin a new phase of their lives when they move to the countryside, where the people they meet and new friends they make give them a new outlook on life.
Who are the cast members of First, for Love?
Yeom Jung Ah, Park Hae Joon, Choi Yun Ji, and Kim Min Kyu are the four confirmed leads for the K-drama.
Yeom Jung Ah plays Lee Ji An. The actress has yet to star in a Netflix series but has previously starred in K-dramas such as No Way Out: The Roulette, Cleaning Up, SKY Castle, Mirror of the Witch, and Your Neighbor’s Wife.

Park Hae Joon plays Ryu Jeong Seok. The actor recently starred in Netflix’s When Life Gives You Tangerines. He also starred in The 8 Show, Arthdal Chronicles, 20th Century Girl, and Believer 2. He also had leading roles in the K-dramas The World of the Married and I Have Not Done My Best Yet.

Choi Yun Ji plays the role of Lee Hyo Ri. The actress had her acting debut in 2024 in Love Your Enemy. She was recently seen in a guest role in an episode of Resident Playbook.

Kim Min Kyu plays the role of Ryu Bo Hyeon. The actor had only been seen on Netflix once, in a supporting role in The Fabulous. Outside of Netflix, he has starred in Missing Crown Prince, Seasons of Blossom, and Idol: The Coup.
