A brand new 4-episode docuseries focused on the life and career of one of the most famous professional wrestlers of all time, Hulk Hogan, is coming to Netflix on April 22, 2026. Hulk Hogan: Real American will feature Hogan himself, in his last interview before his death, as he recounts the highs and lows of his life and career.
Hulk Hogan: Real American is an upcoming Netflix Original docuseries directed by Bryan Storkel (Bitconned). The series has a large number of executive producers, including Aaron Cohen, Alexa Conway, Lee Fitting, Libby Geist, Ben Houser, Paul Levesque, Marc Pomarico, Connor Schell, and Bryan Storkel. The co-executive producer is Nick Esienberg,
The story producers are Jason Tippet and Forrest Borie. The remaining producers are Karen Bowlin, Janette Lynott, and Amy Storkel. Words + Pictures, in association with WWE, is the production company behind the documentary.

When is Hulk Hogan: Real American coming to Netflix?
Netflix has confirmed that Hulk Hogan: Real American will be released on April 22, 2026.

What is the documentary about?
Terry Beloa, aka Hulk Hogan, is one of the most famous larger-than-life wrestlers and personalities in professional wrestling history. Credited as the face of the golden age of wrestling, not only did Hulk Hogan help the WWE (formerly WWF) to become one of the biggest wrestling promotions on the planet, but he was also one of the key members of the Monday Night Wars, after leaving the WWF to join rival promotion WCW, where he teamed up with Kevin Nash and Scott Hall to create the stable NWO (New World Order).

While there were countless highs during his professional wrestling career, there have been plenty of controversial lows during his career and post-retirement. The documentary will provide fans with unfiltered access to Hulk Hogan, who, in his last interview before his death, offers his own words and context for those highs and lows.
