It’s going to be a busy September 1st for Nickelodeon fans on Netflix in the United States, with multiple shows receiving updates and a new Nickelodeon show set to arrive soon. Here’s what you need to know.

Updated: (09/01/2025): Added details on which seasons were added for each show.

Before we dive into the updates, a reminder that we’re keeping tabs on the entire Nickelodeon library on Netflix, including all Netflix Original projects, in our master list, which can be found at the link provided.

The Loud House heads to Netflix US for the first time

For the first time in Netflix US history, The Loud House will stream on Netflix. Netflix confirmed early on that “multiple seasons” were on the way, although seasons 3 and 4 were ultimately added, consisting of 52 episodes.

Created by Chris Savino (the incredible creator who has also worked on titles like Dexter’s Laboratory, The Powerpuff Girls, and Ren & Stimpy), the show has been active on our screens since 2016. The show is now in its ninth season on Nickelodeon, which premiered on August 1, 2025.

The show follows Lincoln and his 10 sisters as they experience a series of adventures, including a frog rescue mission, a snowstorm, and a chaotic family trip. The voice cast includes Grant Palmer, Collin Dean, and Catherin Taber.

Of course, the series is long overdue on Netflix, given that in 2021, Netflix exclusively released The Loud House Movie. Much like many other Nickelodeon movies that went straight to Netflix, the streamer failed to secure the license to the original show on which it was based. That applies to Invader Zim, Rocko’s Modern Life, and even the most recent The Casagrandes Movie. Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie was initially released on Netflix without the main series, although that has since changed

The addition to Netflix is not impacting the show’s availability on Paramount+ in the US. We’ll update this article once we know the exact number of seasons coming.

Multiple Other Nickelodeon Shows Getting Updates

Icarly Seasons Coming To Netflix

New seasons of iCarly are coming to Netflix

In recent years, Netflix has adjusted its show lineup by removing select seasons and making only one or two seasons available. The idea here, at least from Paramount’s point of view, would be to encourage people to switch to Paramount+ to binge-watch the rest. Another shift is happening, and it looks like this time, we’re getting new seasons rather than having seasons taken away.

What shows are getting updates then? Let’s run through them:

  • Victorious (Seasons 2-3 currently available)
    • Season 1 added on September 1st
  • The Thundermans (Season 3 currently available)
    • Seasons 1, 2, and 4 were added on September 1st
  • Bella and the Bulldog (Season 1 currently available)
    • Season 2 added on September 1st
  • iCarly (Season 1 currently streaming – “multiple seasons” coming on September 1st)
    • Seasons 2-5 were added on September 1st
  • Nicky, Ricky Dicky & Dawn (Season 1 currently streaming – “multiple seasons” coming on September 1st)
    • Seasons 2-4 were added.

We can also report that many of these shows’ licenses have been significantly extended, with some, such as Drake and Josh, now staying on Netflix through at least 2027, and many others now licensed through 2030.
