July will be extremely busy, especially with new television shows arriving. With a mix of licensed shows and an exciting lineup of original programming, subscribers will have plenty to binge-watch. However, please note that the titles listed below are only confirmed for release on Netflix US.

Let’s take a look at the eight most exciting licensed TV shows coming to Netflix US in July 2025!

Sullivans Crossing New On Netflix July

The Steve Harvey Show (Seasons 1-6)

Coming to Netflix: July 21

Comedian Steve Harvey has been the host of Family Feud since 2010, and arguably, his time on the game show has made him one of the most recognisable comedians on television and social media, thanks to all of the viral moments that have been produced.

While to modern audiences he is known as the funny game show host of Family Feud, for decades, Harvey had honed his craft as a stand-up comic and actor. From 1996 to 2002, the comedian had his sitcom series, The Steve Harvey Show, named after him. In the series, Harvey played Steve Hightower, a 1970s funk legend, who undergoes a career change as a high school music teacher and vice principal at Booker T. Washington High on Chicago’s West Side.

Seasons: 6 | Episodes: 122
Cast: Steve Harvey, Cedric the Entertainer, Merlin Santana, William Lee Scott, Wendy Raquel Robinson

Sneaky Pete (Seasons 1-3)

Coming to Netflix: July 10

Originally an Amazon Prime Original, Sneaky Pete, along with several others, stands as a shining example of the growing number of titles that were once exclusive to a Netflix competitor and have now been licensed several years after their initial release.

Created by Breaking Bad star Bryan Cranston and The Good Doctor’s David Shore, Sneaky Pete ran for a total of three seasons between August 2015 and May 2019. Despite earning very positive reviews from critics across all three seasons, unfortunately, its performance on Amazon Prime Video wasn’t enough for the series to be renewed for a fourth season. Is a Suits-esque performance in sight for the underappreciated crime-comedy? Or will it fade into the obscurity of the Netflix library? We can’t wait to find out.

Sneaky Pete stars Giovanni Ribisi as Marius Josipović, who, after being released from prison and on the run from a gangster he once robbed, decides to take the identity of his former cellmate Pete Murphy, and “reunites” with Pete’s estranged family. However, Marious’s new “family” threatens to drag him into a world just as dangerous as the one he’s trying to escape from.

Seasons: 3 | Episodes: 30
Cast: Giovanni Ribisi, Marin Ireland, Shane McRae, Libe Barer, Peter Gerety

Mom (Multiple Seasons)

Coming to Netflix: July 1

Mom, one of the longest-running sitcoms on television in the 2010s, was created by Chuck Lorre, known for The Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half Men. It aired for 8 seasons from September 2013 to May 2021.

The series follows Christy, portrayed by Anna Faris, and her mother, Bonnie, played by Allison Janney. Christy is an alcoholic single mother who has recently become sober and is working to turn her life around when her own mother, Bonnie, a passive-aggressive and chaotic recovering alcoholic, reenters her life.

The series is a recipient of two Primetime Emmy Awards, with actress Allison Janney receiving the award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series consecutively in 2014 and 2015.

Don’t forget that Chuck Lorre’s new Netflix sitcom Leanne also drops at the end of July

Seasons: 8 | Episodes: 170
Cast: Anna Faris, Allison Janney, Sadie Calvano, Nate Corddry, Matt Jones

Dan Da Dan (Season 2)

Coming to Netflix: July 3 (weekly)

One of the most popular anime series of 2024, fans can’t wait to lap up more weekly episodes of Dan Da Dan. The series is a perfect example of Netflix getting anime releases correct, forgoing the previous “Netflix Jail” model and trying to emulate the likes of competitor Crunchyroll.

The anime is an adaptation of Yukinobu Tatsu’s manga of the same name, which is serialised in Shōnen Jump+. One of the best animated titles to land on Netflix in 2024, the series was also aided by a super catchy theme song, “Otonoke” by Creepy Nuts, who previously went viral for their song “Bling-Bang-Bang-Born,” the theme song of Mashle: Magic and Muscles.

The series is centered on two high school students, Momo and Okarun. Momo, who believes in ghosts, and Okarun, who believes in aliens, each denies the existence of the other, that is until one fateful night on a dare when Okarun has a run-in with a malicious spirit and Momo with over-inquisitive aliens, the pair find themselves stepping into the world of the paranormal and supernatural.

Seasons: 2 | Episodes: 24 (weekly)
Cast: Shion Wakayama, Natsuki Hanae, Mayumi Tanaka, Nana Mizuki, Kaito Ishikawa

House of Lies (Seasons 1-5)

Coming to Netflix: July 23

Created by Matthew Carnahan, House of Lies ran for five seasons between January 2012 and June 2016 before being cancelled by the network Showtime. The series stars Don Cheadle as Marty Kaan, the fast-talking, charismatic, and deceitful proprietor of consultancy firm Kaan & Associates. Corruption is the name of the game in Marty’s book, who threw his army of management consultants, will use every dirty trick in the book to bring powerful CEOs to heel and close on landmark deals. The series has often been likened to a modern-day Mad Men, and it has the potential to gain popularity on Netflix, given the caliber of its stars.

Seasons: 5 | Episodes: 58
Cast: Don Cheadle, Kristen Bell, Ben Schwartz, Josh Lawson, Dawn Olivieri

Yellowjackets (Season 2)

Coming to Netflix: July 1

Yellowjackets is the gift that keeps on giving for fans, and we can’t get enough. Sadly, Netflix will only have 2 out of the 3 available seasons, but for fans of the show, watching it exclusively through Netflix will be a delight to learn as Showtime recently renewed the series for a fourth season.

The series stars Melanie Lynskey as Sophie Nélisse, one of several adults from New Jersey, who, as teenagers, were forced to survive 19 months in the Canadian wilderness after their plane crashed on their way to a soccer game. Stranded with next to nothing to survive, the team resorts to desperate measures to stay alive, a story that unfolds through flashbacks as the survivors still deal with the repercussions of their actions years ago.

Seasons: 2 | Episodes: 19
Cast: Melanie Lynskey, Tawny Cypress, Sophie Nélisse, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Sophie Thatcher

Mr. Robot (Seasons 1-4)

Coming to Netflix: July 2

For the first time ever, all four fantastic seasons of Mr. Robot will be available to stream on Netflix in the United States (they were previously available in select international regions). Having aired all four seasons on USA Network and Amazon Prime outside of the US, Netflix subscribers have been starved of watching Rami Malek’s superb performance as Elliot Alderson.

The series is centered on Elliot, a cybersecurity engineer with extreme social anxiety, depression, and dissociative identity disorder. He is recruited to join a group of hacktivists by the mysterious Mr. Robot (played by Christian Slater), who aim to take down all the debt records within E Corp, one of the largest conglomerates in the world that holds an iron fist on the world’s finances.

Mr. Robot is one of the best shows in recent years to keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. You’ll constantly find yourself guessing where the next twists and turns will come from. It is undoubtedly one of the top licensed additions to the Netflix library this year.

Seasons: 4 | Episodes: 45
Cast: Rami Malek, Carly Chaikin, Portia Doubleday, Martin Wallström, Christian Slater
