The podcast business has boomed in recent years, and it was only a matter of time before Netflix got in on the act. As we move into 2026, the service is set to receive a glut of podcast content beginning in January 2026. In this post, we dive into all of the titles coming our way.

2026 is all set up to be a standout year for podcasts on Netflix, with the streamer becoming home to podcasts featuring Bill Simmons, Chelsea Handler, Bobby Bones, and Adam DeVine. Between Netflix’s deals with iHeartMedia, Barstool, and The Ringer, some of the biggest and most acclaimed names in the podcast space will soon arrive in its library.

There’s also a number of tie-in podcasts already on Netflix, diving even deeper into fan-favorite shows and movies; look no further than Squid Game: The Official Podcast.

As the podcast market continues to grow at a rapid pace, Netflix co-CEO Ted Sarandos sees the medium as a key element of the future. “We’re constantly looking at all different types of content and content creators,” he said in early 2025, per Variety. “The lines between podcast and talk shows are getting pretty blurry. We want to work with kind of great creators across all kinds of media that consumers love. And podcasts, to your point, have become a lot more video-forward.”

Fast forward to today, and Netflix is making big moves in the podcast space, partnering with some of the industry’s biggest companies. With the deals Netflix has made, we’re seeing a large number of podcasts arrive in January 2026.

From licensed content to original offerings, here’s a comprehensive list of podcasts coming to the Netflix library, but before that, some FAQS:

  • Will there be a podcast hub on Netflix? Not really. According to the official help documentation, you’ll need to search manually for a podcast or even enter the word’ podcast’ to get the full list. Presumably, there will be a dedicated row too.
  • Will the podcasts on Netflix have ads? Sort of. Again, according to Netflix, “Podcasts may contain limited commercial content across all our plans.”
  • Will these be available globally? No, at least not at the beginning. Only the US will carry podcasts in January ,with others getting it further down the line.
  • Can you clip and download podcasts? Yes.
  • How do you subscribe to podcasts? You need to press the “Remind Me” button on the pages (using the links below), and Netflix will reportedly notify you when new episodes become available.

“At Netflix, we’re always looking for new ways to entertain our members, wherever and however they want to watch,” said Lauren Smith, Netflix VP of Content Licensing and Programming Strategy. “As video podcasts continue to grow in popularity, our partnership with Spotify allows us to bring full video versions of these top shows to both Netflix and Spotify audiences. From pop culture and lifestyle to true crime and sports, this curated selection of video podcasts adds fresh voices and new perspectives to Netflix, making our entertainment lineup more exciting than ever.”
