What’s Leaving Netflix in August 2025

As always, the Netflix library rotates every single month. While the library generally grows year over year, licensed titles are regularly added to and removed from the service, and August 2025 will be no exception. Here are all the currently planned departures for Netflix specifically in the US throughout August. 

Two more titles from HBO and Disney are leaving, with Dwayne Johnson’s Ballers and the 2001 sitcom My Wife and Kids also set to depart. That’s in addition to the potential removal of the majority of AMC shows that were licensed to Netflix for a single year last summer. We have reached out to AMC and Netflix to inquire about potential talks to renew this deal, but neither party has responded.
