Netflix has announced an adult animated workplace comedy Dealies, following the quirky, fantastical staff in Dealies, a the most unorthodox big box store in America. Here’s everything we know, including our first look and the opening titles.
Netflix has heavily invested in the adult animated comedy space in recent times. Some of the streamer’s biggest and most esteemed series include BoJack Horseman, Big Mouth, and Disenchanted. Already in 2026 we’ve seen some big movement in Netflix’s adult animated comedy category, with shows like Mating Season and Strip Law. Up next is Alley Cats, a series created by comedy legend Ricky Gervais, who already has success on Netflix through his stand-up shows and drama After-Life.
As first revealed by Variety, fantastical workplace comedy Dealies is the next adult animated comedy in development at Netflix. The series is created by Joe Bennett and Ted Travelstead — who both previously worked on the animated sci-fi series Scavengers Reign, which originally aired on HBO Max before moving to Netflix, where it was ultimately canceled. Bennett later found success under the adult animated comedy umbrella with Adult Swim series Common Side Effects, following two former high school lab partners on the run from the DEA and Big Pharma. After a successful debut, Common Side Effects has already been confirmed to return for another season.
Dealies is executive produced by Green Street Pictures, the animation studio behind Scavengers Reign, Common Side Effects, and My Two Cars. The project is led by creators and executive producers Joe Bennett and Ted Travelstead, with Green Street co-founders James Merrill, Sean Buckelew, and Benjy Brooke producing. Lisa Mierke and Alex Plapinger also serve as executive producers.

When is Dealies coming to Netflix?
Netflix has not set a release date for Dealies, but co-creator Joe Bennett has confirmed in an Instagram post that it’s coming to the streamer in 2027.
