A hard-hitting new MMA series straight from Brazil, titled Wrath, is coming to Netflix on July 29, 2026! The series stars Vinicius Neri as Marcelo, a young man rescued from the brink of death by an MMA coach, who has no memory of his life before finding a new purpose in the ring. Wrath is an upcoming Brazilian Netflix Original series created by Igor Verde and Gustavo Bragança. The series’ executive producers are series director José Henrique Fonsesca, Eduardo Pop, and Fernanda Laignier, and it is a co-production between Netflix and Zola Films.

Netflix has confirmed that Wrath will be released globally and exclusively on the platform on July 29, 2026.
What is the plot of Wrath?
Netflix has released a synopsis for Wrath:
“Wrath tells the story of a young man rescued from the brink of death by an MMA coach. With no memory of his identity, he is given the name Marcelo and finds a new purpose in MMA. But as he is drawn deeper into this universe, he begins to uncover clues to his past and becomes entangled in a web of crime, secrets, and rivalries that reaches far beyond the cage.”
