Today’s new Pokémon Presents stream brings us news regarding the future of Pokémon Concierge! We’ve got a bunch of new first looks, as well as confirmation on when the new season will be arriving on Netflix within September. Let’s dig in.

Quickly for context, Pokémon Concierge is the stop-motion animated anime series that Netflix first debuted in late 2023 with a handful of episodes that gained critical acclaim and scored millions of views in its opening weeks. Months later, in February 2024, Netflix confirmed that “new episodes” were in production, which everyone presumed was going to be the second season. That’s not entirely true, as we’ve now learned today.

At a Pokémon Present presentation earlier this year, we got confirmation of three new Pokémon who would be appearing in the upcoming episodes: Shinx, Arcanine, and Corphish.

Shinx, Arcanine, and Corphish are three very different Pokémon with distinct origins and styles. Shinx, an Electric-type introduced in Diamond & Pearl, is an adorable blue lion cub that generates electricity through muscle contractions and eventually evolves into the fierce Luxray. Arcanine, one of the most iconic Fire-types from the original Red & Blue games, is a majestic, tiger-striped canine dubbed the “Legendary Pokémon” for its noble appearance and incredible speed, evolving from Growlithe with a Fire Stone. Meanwhile, Corphish hails from the Ruby & Sapphire era, a hardy and aggressive Water-type resembling a lobster that thrives even in polluted waters, later evolving into the intimidating Crawdaunt.

The new episode drops on September 4th on Netflix and will be episodes 5 through 8.

Netflix’s official description for the new episodes is as follows:

“Haru has grown a little and is no longer a newbie. She and her partner Psyduck welcome many new Pokémon to the resort, including Sealeo, Shinx, Luxray, Arcanine, and Corphish. Haru spends fun and relaxing days surrounded by these guests, occaisionally handling any problems that pop up. One day, a guy named Kent (voiced by Keita Machida) appears, and he seems to be Haru’s ex-boyfriend. Why did he come to the resort? What will happen with his relationship with Haru? Plus, Tyler’s uncle Dan (voiced by Kazuhiro Yamaji) arrives at the resort with the Sealeo that has accompanied him for 15 years. Dan, who sometimes looks a little forlorn, is troubled by something…”

Here’s the full Pokémon Presents stream for July 22nd, 2025, and you can find the full teaser trailer from the 2-minute mark.

Other announcements in the presentation include Aardman Animations, Peter Lord, who confirmed earlier news that they’re working on a new stop-motion animated series, which is separate from Concierge and not currently attached to Netflix and scheduled to release in 2027. “We have the pleasure of partnering with Pokémon on an exciting new stop-motion animated series,” Lord says, “We’ll be putting some very special Pokémon front and centre as the heroes of our show, and it will be set in a region which is very close to our hearts. It will give a unique look at the Pokémon world told from the perspective of Pokémon with a signature, odd-man sense of character and comedy and craft. I know you all love it as much as we do. We could not be more excited to share this sneak peek with the world. So, let’s have a look!”

Elsewhere, Pokémon Presents revealed the 2025 Pokémon World Championships will be held in Anaheim from August 15–17 with a first-ever arena Championship Sunday, special promo cards, and exclusive Toad School distribution. Japan is getting Poké Park Kanto, a permanent outdoor Pokémon attraction featuring a natural forest and dream town where visitors can meet Pokémon. Pokémon Friends, a new puzzle game, is out now on Switch and mobile, while Scarlet/Violet received a Nintendo Switch 2 enhancement update, new Terra Raid events with Shiny Treasures of Ruin, and Mass Outbreaks. A fun new Electrode Volleyball mini-game is coming soon, and Pokémon Champions, a new cross-platform battling game with team-building and ranked battles, launches in 2026. Pokémon Go Fest 2025 Max Finale will feature the global debut of Eternatus and special Gigantamax rewards. Finally, Pokémon Legends ZA, set in Lumiose City, releases October 16, 2025, introducing Team MZ, rogue Mega-Evolved Pokémon, the ZA Royale battle mode, and a brand-new Mega Dragonite.
