Desire is an upcoming Mexican Netflix Original thriller directed by Teresa Simone in her directorial debut, and written by Giulia Cardamone (Miss Bala) and Vanessa Miklos (Muda). The film is produced by Pablo Cruz and El Estudio, with Juana García Blaya and Pilar Robla as the executive producers. Desire was released in Mexican theatres on May 7, 2026, and Spanish theatres on May 8, 2026.

Who are the cast members of Desire?
Ludwika Paleta plays Lucero. The actress has starred in films such as Will You Be My Girlfriend, Después, and All the Silence. She also starred in television shows such as Isla Brava, Bellas Artes, Silent Cargo, Dom, and Netflix’s Daughter From Another Mother.

José María Yazpik plays Fernando. The actor will be most well known to Netflix subscribers for his role as Amado Carrillo Fuentes in Narcos and Narcos: Mexico. He also starred in Netflix’s crime thriller The Gringo Hunters and Futuro Desierto.
