Webtoon Adaptations Coming to Netflix Beyond 2026
Granny

Based on the Webtoon: Granny (할매)
Cast: Lee Jung Eun, Kim Moo Yul
Production Status: Filming Scheduled | Coming to Netflix: 2027/2028
Studio Dragon is producing the K-drama series after its collaborator, Sanae Pictures, walked away from the project after a dispute over profits. The series will be Lee Jung Eun’s first action role in her career, and she is joined by Kim Moo Yul from Teaching You a Lesson.
Filming is set to get underway on July 5, 2026, and we expect a late 2027 or early 2028 release.
“Jung Suk Ja’s grandson, Kwon Yong Hui, is her entire world. But everything comes crashing down after he ends up in a coma. The culprits behind it, the infamous Black Star Mob, are set free despite all evidence. Then one day, two men suddenly appear in front of Mrs. Jung, telling her they will train her so she can enact revenge on her grandson’s assailants and take down the mob once and for all. Hesitant at first, she decides to work with them and begins to hunt down her prey one by one.”
Trauma Code Heroes on Call (Seasons 2 & 3)

After a long wait, we finally had confirmation recently that The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call has been renewed for a second and third season! While the series is a loose adaptation of the webtoon, the remaining two seasons are expected to delve into later story arcs. Filming is to get underway in October 2026, with all of the cast from the 1st season returning to reprise their roles.
“Baek Gang Hyeok, a genius trauma surgeon with experience in conflict zones, joins a university hospital to lead its severe trauma team. His confident, bulldozer-like personality clashes with the hospital’s financial struggles as the team saves more patients. Solo Leveling

Solo Leveling is currently one of the most popular webtoons, and its anime adaptation has helped the franchise’s popularity skyrocket. Given its status as a beloved webtoon and anime, there are reservations among fans about a live-action adaptation. If Netflix can nail the adaptation, then Solo Leveling could become one of the most popular live-action adaptations on the platform.
Filming for the series has been ongoing since early May 2026, and with a long production and post-production process ahead, we aren’t expecting to see Solo Leveling on Netflix until at least late 2027.
“Decades prior, strange portals began opening across the world, housing monsters who could unleash devastating harm to humanity. The arrival of the portals also saw the awakening of supernatural abilities in humans, granting them great strength and power to protect the rest of society and enabling them to hunt the deadly monsters.

Men of the Harem (Season 1)

Bae Suzy remains one of the most popular actresses on Netflix, and hearts will be set alight in the upcoming adaptation of Men of the Harem thanks to its star-studded cast. We expect Men of the Harem to be incredibly popular with audiences around the globe.

Filming for the adaptation began in June 2026, and isn’t scheduled to end until December 2026. As such, we aren’t expecting to see the K-drama on Netflix until the second half of 2027. The series is also being filmed in Australia, and the first Netflix K-drama to be filmed on the Australian continent.

All of Us Are Dead (Season 2)

All of Us Are Dead is one of the highest-performing K-dramas on Netflix, and fans have been eagerly awaiting its return. The series has already wrapped filming and is due to be released on Netflix in early 2027. The second season will be a major departure from the original webtoon, focusing on events years after the Jonas Virus ravaged Hyosan.
“After surviving the catastrophic zombie outbreak at Hyosan High, Nam On Jo is now a university student in Seoul, struggling to move on from the trauma and the friends she lost. But when a new wave of infection suddenly hits Seoul, she finds herself trapped in another deadly fight for survival — this time without the people she once depended on. “
Love O’Clock (Season 1)

Production on Love O Clock concludes in August 2026, which means we won’t see the K-drama on Netflix until sometime in 2027.
