Lee Dong Wook, Lee Jong Won, Jeon So Nee, and Jung Yu Mi will play the lead roles in Netflix’s upcoming romance K-drama film, The Facade of Love. Filming is to get underway in April 2026. Here’s everything we know about Love Affair on Netflix.
The Facade of Love (previously known as Love Affair) is an upcoming South Korean Netflix Original romantic melodrama film directed by Mo Wan Il and written by Ha Soo Jin. FNC Story is the studio behind the production of Love Affair.

Who are the cast members of The Facade of Love?
It was previously reported by Naver that Lee Dong Wook, Jeon So Ni, and Lee Jong Won have been cast in the leading roles of The Facade of Love.
Netflix has also confirmed that actress Jung Yu Mi has joined the cast in a leading role.

Lee Dong Wook was the first actor to be approached for a leading role. The actor has only starred in one Netflix series, which was in the internationally licensed melodrama Life, where he played Ye Jin U. The actor is incredibly popular and has starred in some major fan favorites over the years, including Search: WWW, Strangers from Hell, Tale of the Nine-Tailed, Guardian: The Lonely and Great God, and A Shop for Killers. Suffice it to say, his casting in a Netflix project is sure to draw lots of attention. Lee Dong Wook will play Kim Ji Hoon.

Jeon So Nee has been cast to play Gong Hu Gyeong. The actress has starred in a handful of Netflix projects, including As You Stood By, Melo Movie, and Parasyte: The Grey. She will also be seen in a supporting role in Netflix’s upcoming K-drama series If Wishes Could Kill. Outside of Netflix, she has starred in Our Blooming Youth, Scripting Your Destiny, and When My Love Blooms.

Lee Jong Won plays Lee Dae Hee. The actor has never held a leading role in a Netflix project, and so far has been limited to guest roles in The School Nurse Files, You and Everything Else, and a supporting role in the second season of Hospital Playlist. Outside of Netflix, he has held lead roles in K-dramas such as Brewing Love, Bad Memory Eraser, Knight Flower, and The Golden Spoon.

Jung Yu Mi will play the role of Sun-hee. The actress’s only lead roles in Netflix Originals to date were in the supernatural horror-comedy The School Nurse Files and the romance drama Live. She had a cameo role in Netflix’s romantic comedy Love Untangled. Outside of Netflix, she has led K-dramas such as Love Your Enemy and Discovery of Love. She has also led in Korean films such as Wonderland, Sleep, and Kim Ji Young: Born 1982.

Netflix has now confirmed that filming is underway on The Facade of Love.
