If you’ve ever tried to dig through Netflix’s huge US catalog and wished our A–Z lists felt a little faster and clearer, we’ve got good news: our library pages just got a proper refresh.
We’ve been building out Netflix library indexes for years — movies, series, genres, languages, decades, directors, and more — and this update is all about making those lists easier to browse and filter.
What’s New
Clearer filters (and an easy reset)
- Narrow things down by language, genre, year, IMDb score, Netflix Originals, and more. Active filters now show up as removable chips, and you can clear everything in one click when you want to start over.
Must Watch picks
- Looking for titles we’ve already flagged as worth your time? There’s now a Must Watch filter so you can jump straight to those picks.
Sticky A–Z letter jump
- The letter rail stays with you as you scroll, so hopping from A to M to Z is quicker when you’re deep in a big catalog.
Smoother browsing
- Results load with a cleaner skeleton state, cards ease in as they appear, and each poster now shows a simple Movie / TV Series / Podcast label so you can tell types apart at a glance.
Updated lists hub
- Our main library hub has been restyled to match the new A–Z experience, so jumping between catalogs feels consistent across the site.
Head to our Netflix Library lists and pick a catalog — or jump straight into All Netflix Movies or All Netflix TV Series. Set a few filters, tap a letter, and browse.

A Thank You From What’s on Netflix
What’s on Netflix has seen a bunch of changes over the past year. We’ve introduced more writers, including Jack Giroux, who is now spearheading interviews and often publishes several per week. We’ve also added new contributors like Ryan Gaur, Rendy Jones, Rafael Motamayor, Florian Etcheverry, Carlo van Remortel, and others, with more hopefully contributing soon. That’s in addition to the continued hard efforts of all of our other prior contributors and staff.
That’s in addition to a top-to-bottom rework of our codebase and features, including a redesigned homepage which incorporates Netflix’s live events, expanded what’s popular functionality pulling in from our Engagement Report search and daily top 10s via our partnership with FlixPatrol. Our What’s New on Netflix got a huge overhaul at the top of the year, and we’re seeing usage of that tool hitting all-time highs. That’s not to mention our new Android and iOS app that pulls in that data. That’s some of the biggest changes, but there’s more to come.
As a result of all of this, What’s on Netflix is on track for its best year in history, and I’d like to thank all of our contributors and readers.
