If you loved the hit movie Trolls then you’ve probably been keeping up with the music series Troll: The Beat Goes On. The party will continue in season 4 coming in November.

Outlaw King (Movie)

Release Date: November 9th

Outlaw King has drawn a lot of coverage in recent months and not all necessarily positive. The new movie starring Chris Pine will look to retell the true story of Robert The Bruce who looks to unite Scotland against the English. The movie will feature some big set-pieces involving Game of Thrones level battle sequences. It’s set to be a big movie release for Netflix and we can’t wait.

Also in case you’re wondering, yes you’ve heard correctly, Chris Pine does go full monty in Outlaw King. The actor says the exposure is “important”.

Super Drags (Season 1)

Release Date: November 9th

Don’t let the cutesy graphics fool you, this is very much not a kids show. This series sees three queers turn into the Super Drags, who have elite powers to fight, whatever comes up. It’s absolutely absurd and akin the humour seen in Big Mouth. It certainly won’t be for everyone but this looks to be a fun series that we don’t advise taking too seriously.

The Ballad of Buster Scruggs (Movie)

Release Date: November 16th

A big cast list joins the Coen brothers in their first big Netflix project. The upcoming movie sees James Franco, David Krumholtz, Liam Neeson, Clancy Brown and Zoe Kazan all-star in this Western that’s a little different from others in the genre. The movie is also set to be a comedy and will be split into six parts across two and a bit hours. The movie will be narrated by the Coen brothers and look at six individuals navigating their way in the wild west.

The reviews for the movie have already been released and they’re pretty darn good. This is our movie highlight of November.

Narcos: Mexico

Release Date: November 2nd

Narcos is back and once again is starting somewhat afresh as we travel to Mexico. The end of season 3 gave us the hint that we’d be travelling to a new location with a completely new cast. The upcoming Mexico series has new season regulars including Michael Pena and Diego Luna.

Medal of Honor (Docuseries)

Release Date: November 9th

Robert Zemeckis is behind this upcoming military docuseries. The 8 part anthology series will go between different scenarios where soldiers were awarded the highest military distinction, the Medal of Honor.

Westside (Season 1)

If you’re a lover of musicals or broadway but not into talent shows, this is the docuseries for you. This season will follow 9 hopeful musicians hoping to making it to the big time.

The Kominsky Method (Season 1)

Release Date: November 16th

Chuck Lorre’s first foray onto Netflix didn’t go down quite as well as you may have hoped. Kathy Bate’s Disjointed fell relatively flat on its fast and is hoping to do better with this next comedy series project. The series will star Michael Douglas, Alan Arkin, Nancy Travis and Sarah Baker.

The series will follow Sandy Kominsky who had earlier success as an actor in Hollywood but now spends his days being a revered Hollywood acting coach. We’ve yet to see any actual footage of the series yet but there are several interviews with the lead actor, Michael Douglas.

She-Ra and the Princesses of Power (Season 1)

Release Date: November 16th

Netflix has done a tremendous job over the last few years in resurrecting your favorite 80’s icons for new modern adaptations. The next big title to release under the Netflix Original banner is She-Ra and the Princess of Power. The series will follow a similar story to the original whereby we follow a 16 year old orphan who turns into the Princess of Power after finding a magic sword.

Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Return (Season 2)

Release Date: November 22nd

Are you ready to watch some new B movies with the gang? Well, Netflix has announced it’ll release another batch of episodes on Thanksgiving this year. The series which got a reboot a year or so ago went over with fans fantastically. We don’t know too many details about the upcoming season including whether we’ll see the return of Jonah Ray, Felicia Day and Patton Oswalt as the new scientists. Either way, we’re happy to see more episodes being produced.
