A steamy new erotic thriller is making its way to Netflix in August 2025. Titled Fall for Me, the German film stars Svenja Jung and Theo Trebs as Lilli and Tom, who meet on the island of Mallorca and start an intense love affair. Here’s everything we know so far about Fall for Me.
Fall for Me is an upcoming German Netflix Original erotic thriller film directed by Sherry Hormann and written by Stefanie Sycholt. Christina Henne, Quirin Berg, and Max Wiedemann are the executive producers representing Wiedemann & Berg Film, with Friederike Weykamp also listed as an associate producer. They’re the same production company behind the likes of Brick, Crooks, and 60 Minutes.
When is Fall for Me coming to Netflix?
Netflix has confirmed that Fall for Me will premiere on August 21, 2025.
The film’s Netflix page is now live, where you can set a reminder ahead of its release. We can also confirm the film has a runtime of 1 hour and 43 minutes with the film carrying a TV-MA rating.
What is the plot of Fall for Me?
Netflix has provided a synopsis for the film:
“Lilli travels to the sun-drenched island of Mallorca to unwind and visit her little sister Valeria. Upon Lilli’s arrival, Valeria reveals her hasty engagement to the charming Frenchman Manu and their joint plan to invest in a luxurious B&B. Lilli is suspicious. While trying to find out more about her sister’s fiancé, she meets the German nightclub manager Tom. There is a huge spark between the two at their first meeting, and they can’t escape their mutual attraction. A passionate affair unfolds, one that harbors secrets and dangers…”

Who are the cast members of Fall for Me?
Svenja Jung plays Lilli. The Empress fans will recognise Svenja Jung as Countess Louise Gundemann. She’s also starred in the Netflix series Crooks and Dark. Outside of Netflix, she is known for her work in Spy/Master and Deutschland 89.

Theo Trebs plays Tom. This marks his first appearance in a Netflix Original. He is best known for German films including Rammbock: Berlin Undead, The White Ribbon, Lessons of a Dream, and How to Be Really Bad.
