Arrested Development (Season 5 Part 2) Arrives March 15th.

The Order Netflix Original

Arrives March 7th

Jake Manley stars as Jack Morton, a freshman at Belgrave University who pledges a secret society called the Hermetic Order of the Blue Rose. He not only discovers dark family secrets, he lands in a war between werewolves and practitioners of dark magic. The series looks promising for fans of shows like Riverdale and Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.

Love Death + Robots (Season 1) Netflix Original

Arrives March 15th

This sci-fi anthology series comes from Deadpool director Tim Miller in collaboration with David Fincher (Seven, Fight Club, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Gone Girl, Mindhunter). Each short ranges in time from five to fifteen minutes and tackles a different heavy subject, from free will to racism. They are also all done in different animated styles. It promises to be like nothing you have ever seen.

Turn Up Charlie Netflix Original

Arrives March 15th

I did a double take when I read the premise of this series, but it stars Idris Elba so that has to mean something. Elba stars as a failing DJ and perennial bachelor who reluctantly takes a job as a ‘manny’ to his famous best friend’s daughter (Piper Perabo). The child is precocious and out of control and you can probably already imagine. Despite the common storyline, it looks like it has potential to be a sweet show with good acting and laughs.

After Life Netflix Original

Arrives March 8

Ricky Gervais stars in this six-episode series doing what he does best: being an arsehole. After losing his wife to cancer, the formerly cheery writer slides into a funk and develops a f*ckitall attitude. He begins telling people exactly what he thinks, threatening suicide, and generally making life miserable for everyone around him. But his friends know there is something there and refuse to give up on him. It’s a touching series with hilarious moments along the way.

Santa Clarita Diet (Season 3) Netflix Original

Arrives March 29th

Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant star as two real estate agents with a pretty great life. They have a great home, great relationship, great family. Everything changes, however, when Sheila becomes a zombie. Now they are just doing their best to keep up appearances and deal with a new world of challenges. Season three has the potential to be much more involved in the story behind the ‘illness’ and a search for the cure. But there are still threats out there continuing to follow the family. We’ll just have to see what this funny show has in store for us.
