It’s that time once again where we take a look at some of the movie highlights headed your way next month.  Here are the top five movies we think you should be looking forward to in March.

It hasn’t exactly been sunny in the movie department over the past few weeks at Netflix. But things are looking up. New titles are moving in like a breath of fresh air. Say goodbye to February and gaze ahead to the possibilities on the streaming horizon. March brings some highly anticipated titles with lots of star power.

The Dirt Netflix Original 

Arrives March 22nd

Based on Mötley Crüe’s 2001 autobiography, Douglas Booth, Iwan Rheon, Colson Baker, and Daniel Webber star as the infamous band that dominated the airwaves of the 80s. We see the band as they go from a mismatched group of misfits playing small rock clubs in Hollywood to becoming one of the most notorious rock groups in history. The film has plenty of famous faces, lots of music, and more makeup and big hair than you’re going to know what to do with.


Disney’s Christopher Robin (2018)

Arrives March 5

Ewan McGregor stars as Christopher Robin. Now an adult, he has lost his sense of wonder and joy that he once possessed as a child. When he is reunited with his stuffed bear Winnie-the-Pooh, they go in search of their old friends Tigger, Eeyore, Owl, Piglet, Rabbit, Kanga, and Roo. Once they are reassembled, the lovable bear and the gang help Christopher rediscover the joy of life.


The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind Netflix Original

Arrives March 1st

Based on the true story of William Kamkwamba, this film is an inspirational story about a Malawian teenager who, after being ejected from school because of a lack of funds, builds a wind turbine engine for his famine-stricken town. Anchored by strong performances and great direction, the story is an uplifting testament to determination and survival.


Triple Frontier Netflix Original

Arrives March 13th

This film features an all-star cast (Ben Affleck, Oscar Isaac, Charlie Hunnam, Garrett Hedlund, and Pedro Pascal) as a group of former Special Forces operatives who reunite to plan a heist in a sparsely populated multi-border zone of South America. For the first time in their prestigious careers, these unsung heroes undertake this dangerous mission for self instead of country. But when events take an unexpected turn and threaten to spiral out of control, their skills, their loyalties, and their morals are pushed to a breaking point in an epic battle for survival.


The Highwaymen Netflix Original 

Arrives March 29th

John Lee Hancock (The Blind Side) directs this epic about the untold true story of the legendary detectives who brought down Bonnie and Clyde. When the full force of the FBI and the latest forensic technology aren’t enough to capture the nation’s most notorious criminals, two former Texas Rangers (Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson) must rely on their gut instincts and old school skills to get the job done.
