Calibre Netflix Movie Getting Limited UK Cinema Release

One of the most underrated Netflix Original movies of the year is set to get a limited UK cinema release over the next month. Here are all the times and locations you’ll be able to watch this thriller on the big screen. 

In case you missed it, Calibre is a British thriller movies featuring two friends who go to the Scottish highlands during hunting season. Things take a turn for the worse which leads to one of the best and most thrilling movies of the year. In our mini-review, we said the atmosphere was so thick you can taste it and praised the performances of the two leads, particularly Jack Lowden.

The movie debuted in Edinburgh roughly a week before it dropped on Netflix on June 29th around the globe.

The cinema release will be a limited run across several selected dates in a selected few cinemas. At this point in time, only UK cinemas will be showing the movie. The limited run showing has been put on by the British Independent Film Awards. In addition to just watching the movie, you’ll be treated to a special Q&A with the cast and crew of the movie.

The Curzon Cinema chain will be showing the movie from October 21st to November 16th at 5 locations including Bloomsbury, Canterbury, Sheffield, Wimbledon and Oxford. Tickets can be found on the CurzonCinemas official website.

It’s rare to see Netflix Original movies in cinemas let alone so far after its release date.
