Who said team building was actually about bringing the team together? Netflix has just announced the release date and shared the first-look images for Go Team! (Spanish title Gracias, equipo), a brand new Spanish dark comedy movie heading our way this September.
Produced by Zeta Studios—the powerhouse production company behind global Netflix hits like Elite, as well as painfully cut short series Olympo and Cuando Nadie Nos Ve—Go Team! promises to take the dreaded corporate retreat and turn it into a hilarious battleground of betrayals.
Created by Adolfo Valor and Cristóbal Garrido, and directed by Diego Núñez Irigoyen, the new comedy will officially touch down on Netflix globally on Friday, September 11th, 2026. The movie was first unveiled to be part of the 2026 lineup for Spain back in January at Next on Netflix.
Here’s the official logline for the new movie:
“The story follows the Tío Mochales company, which years ago was the undisputed queen of Spanish cheese. Today, it is a somewhat rusty enterprise just trying to keep up appearances. Their latest big idea? Organize a rural team-building retreat in the town where the company was originally founded.
But what was supposed to be a retreat to reconnect with ‘traditional values’ becomes an ambush when the staff discovers that mass layoffs are coming. What promised to be a motivational getaway quickly devolves into a pitched battle of brown-nosing, betrayals, and leaks. It’s a dark comedy about decaying offices, unscrupulous management, and workers who simply don’t have the time to waste on modern team-building nonsense.”

Who is in the cast of Go Team!?
If you’re a frequent watcher of Spanish Netflix Originals, you are going to recognize plenty of familiar faces in this ensemble cast.
Leading the movie are:
- Alexandra Jiménez (The Innocent, 53 domingos) as Olga
- Maribel Verdú (Elite, The Final Problem) as Pepa
- Pedro Casablanc (Black Widow, Salvador) as Domingo
- Raúl Tejón (Alpha Males, The Girl in the Mirror) as Marco
- Blanca Martínez (Breathless, In Love All Over Again) as Laura
Rounding out the supporting cast are Ismael Fritschi (Infiesto, REC 4: Apocalypse) and Víctor Rebull (Queen of the South, The Girl in the Mirror). The film will also feature special appearances from veteran actors Saturnino García (Shevernatze) and Pepe Viyuela (La caza).
