NOVA – PBS
The PBS docu-series NOVA on Netflix is due to get a big refresh in July 2019. Here’s a breakdown of the comings and goings.
In case you’re not familiar, NOVA is a long-running PBS series that covers all manner of different subjects. It’s been on the air since 1974 and has seen 857 episodes released carrying the banner across 46 seasons.
The series covers a whole range of topics whether it’s from geopolitics, science, nature, geography or history.
Every year, the PBS library on Netflix gets refreshed as license renewals come around and PBS offers Netflix a brand new set of content while taking away some others.

Mystery Beneath the Ice – David Attenborough’s Netflix series, Our Planet touched on the topic of this episode briefly in episode 2. The episode from season 43 takes a look at the damaging and long last effects that the loss of krill in the artic has caused.
Why Trains Crash – Investigators in this episode from season 44 take a look into a range of train accidents and look into the reasons of why they occur.

Building Chernobyl’s MegaTomb – With the recent success of the HBO mini-series Chernobyl, it’s no surprise we’ve picked this one. It fast forwards time on the series and looks at the more recent efforts to contain the damaging effects of Chernobyl.

Death Dive to Saturn – this documentary from season 44 takes a look at the lesser-known efforts of one the probes that’s currently circling and taking photographs of Saturn.
Thai Cave Rescue – You may recall the recent news story regarding a bunch of kids stuck in a Thai cave and the various efforts that were taken to rescue them. This documentary covers those efforts.
