A charming new Korean reality series is coming to Netflix in August 2026. Take a Hike!. Starring Car, the Garden, Yoon Do Woon, Lee Chae Min, and Tarzzan, together the four will embark on a mid-winter journey across the snowy mountains of Korea.
Take a Hike! is an upcoming South Korean Netflix Original reality series directed by Na Young Seok (Nana bnb with Seventeen, Earth Arcade, Spring Camp). The series is produced by Park Hyun-yong (New Journey to the West).
When is Take a Hike! coming to Netflix?
We can confirm that Take a Hike! will be coming to Netflix in August 2026.
While Netflix has yet to announce an official release date, a preliminary August 1, 2026, release has been set.
Who is taking part in Take a Hike, and what is the series about?
It has been confirmed that four of Korea’s “most in-demand personalities” will make up the cast of the series:
- Car, the garden – South Korean singer known for hosting the Netflix reality series Better Late Than Single.
- Yoon Do Woon – The youngest member of the Korean pop band Day6, who is described as “cheeky, bubbly, and effortlessly likable.”
- Lee Chae Min – South Korean actor who played the lead role of King Yi Heon in Bon Appetit, Your Majesty, and starred in Netflix dramas such as Hierarchy, Crash Course in Romance, and See You in My 19th Life.
- Tarzzan – Rapper and dancer of ALLDAY PROJECT, who has boundless energy and a quirky charm.

Netflix has released an official synopsis for Take a Hike!:
“Take a Hike! is a brand-new reality adventure that follows four non-voluntary hikers — stars with zero interest in hiking — embarking on an epic midwinter journey across the snow-capped mountains of Korea for the first time in their lives. Hiking with their own two feet, the series becomes an unexpectedly charming test of grit, teamwork, and good humor.”
