Yummy Mummies is the latest Netflix Original acquisition of a series from Australias Seven Network. The first season just dropped on Netflix on January 19th and has already been renewed for a second season. Here’s what you need to know about the show to figure out if it’s for you and when the second season is due out in Australia and on Netflix.
Be pre-warned if reality TV isn’t your thing then you’ll want to stay far away from Yummy Mummies as it’s reality TV on steroids. As someone who hates reality TV, I could barely get through the trailer let alone actually begin watching.
Netflix has acquired multiple TV shows in recent months for the Australian TV network Seven. This includes the highly rated Instant Hotel (coming back for season 2 soon) and more recently Back with the Ex which dropped earlier this month.
The series is a mix between The Real Housewives and a show like Keeping Up With The Kardashians. It follows four mothers to be in Australia and their expensive preparations to look after the newborns.
Reviews for the series haven’t been kind. IMDb scores clock in at an abysmal 2.1 out of 10. One of the best reviews we found for the show said: “It’s also one of the most poorly made television series to emerge in Australian television in a very long time.”.
As a result, this is one of the worst Netflix Originals currently streaming on Netflix.
Is Yummy Mummies on Netflix everywhere?
Yes! The first season is now carried pretty much everywhere across the world. Although it’s not a Netflix Original title everywhere.
Obviously, in Australia, the title isn’t an Original but strangely in the United Kingdom, the series isn’t either. That’s likely because it was syndicated somewhere but we weren’t able to find out where.

Is Yummy Mummies coming back for season 2 and when will it be on Netflix?
Believe it or not, Yummy Mummies was renewed for a second season and was airing on Seven in Australia throughout the tail end of 2018.
The 10 episodes second season wrapped up on December 26th, 2018.
In May 2019, we got the release date for Yummy Mummies season 2 which is due to release on July 3rd, 2019.
