Whats On Netflix Uk This Week December 22nd 2023

Thirty-four new movies and TV shows were added to Netflix UK this week. Zack Snyder’s latest sci-fi epic, Rebel Moon, is now available to stream, along with Bradley Cooper’s potential Oscar winner Maestro.

First of all, here are some of the past week’s top highlights:

Rebel Moon — Part One: A Child of Fire (2023) N

Director: Zack Snyder
Genre: Sci-Fi | Runtime: 135 Minutes
Cast: Sofia Boutella, Djimon Hounsou, Ed Skrein, Charlie Hunnam, Anthony Hopkins,

Rebel Moon is based on a pitch Zack Snyder once had for Disney when the company first took over the beloved sci-fi franchise. As Netflix’s new sci-fi epic, there’s always one thing you can look forward to watching from a Zack Snyder movie, which is stunning visuals and superb action.

When an oppressive force threatens the lives of a peaceful farming colony on a far distant moon, a mysterious outsider living amongst them becomes their best hope for survival as she scours the galaxy, looking for gifted warriors that will help her take on the Motherworld.

Marry Me (2022)

Director: Kat Coiro
Genre: Comedy, Music, Romance | Runtime: 112 Minutes
Cast: Jennifer Lopez, Owen Wilson, Maluma, John Bradley, Sarah Silverman

Jennifer Lopez starred in one of the most popular movies on Netflix in 2023, The Mother. However, a year prior, she starred in Marry Me, a romantic comedy, which is precisely the genre of movie fans of Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson are used to watching.

Global music superstar Kat Valdez was set to marry fellow musician Bastian in front of a worldwide audience. But after learning of Bastian’s unfaithfulness, she impulsively marries Charlie, a math teacher, a stranger amongst the crowd.

Bad Boys for Life (2020)

Director: Adil El Arbi, Bilall Fallah
Genre: Action, Adventure, Comedy | Runtime: 124 Minutes

Seventeen years after the release of Bad Boys 2, Martin Lawrence and Will Smith returned to reprise their iconic roles as Marcus Burnett and Mike Lowrey. However, the most significant difference was the absence of director Michael Bay.

An aging Marcus and Mike are confronted by a new threat on the streets of Miami, a ruthless cartel run by a mother and her son.
