The Honeymoon Stand Up Special: Collection Netflix Original

Arriving April 17th

If you’re a fan of comedy podcasts, you’re probably very familiar with the incredibly entertaining stars of this special. Newly married (and now new parents), comedians Natasha Leggero and Moshe Kasher originally hit the road to help other couples with their relationship problems in an advice tour heavy on love and light on expertise. Now they bring they show to Netflix in three parts. They both do individual half-hour specials about their marriage and their (at the time) impending parenthood before reuniting for a third half-hour called “The Couple’s Roast.” The third special is exactly what it sounds like: they invite couples up on stage, ask a few questions about their lives and relationships, and then roast them.

Friend Request (2016)

Arriving April 18th

Laura is a popular college student who accepts an online friend request from Marina, a young social outcast. To everyone’s shock, Marina takes her own life after Laura decides to unfriend her. Soon, a disturbing and mysterious video appears on Laura’s profile. When her friends suddenly begin to die one by one, she must figure out a way to stop the carnage before it’s too late.

Charité: Season 1 Netflix Original

Arriving April 19th

Here’s one for lovers of period drama. This 6-part series tells the story of Berlin’s legendary Charité hospital, which many credit with inventing modern medical research. At the end of the 19th Century, a young woman works off her debts at the world-famous hospital, encountering brilliant physicians and discovering her passion for medicine.

Dope: Season 2 Netflix Original

Arriving April 20th

Fans of true-crime cop shows will like this one. Filmed from the perspectives of dealers, users, and the police, we get a look from all sides at the war on drugs. It’s pretty entertaining.

Kodachrome Netflix Original

Arriving April 20th

Jason Sudeikis and Ed Harris star in this film about a struggling executive who finds his world turned upside down when he learns his estranged father’s dying wish is for him to join him on a road trip from New York to Kansas to process his last rolls of Kodachrome film before the sole remaining lab closes and those captured moments are gone forever.

Mercury 13 Netflix Original

Arriving April 20th

This is the remarkable story of the first women who trained to go into space. While Hidden Figures explored the progress of black women behind the scenes as the U.S. launched the first man into space, this movie explores another struggle for inclusion taking place at the same time: the attempt of 13 women trying to be accepted as astronauts.

The Letdown: Season 1 Netflix Original

Arriving April 21st

New mother Audrey is determined not to be defined by motherhood. Everything in her life, however, is making that pretty impossible. She finds some kooky new friends when she joins an oddball new-parents support group.
