The fifth season of The Mr. Peabody & Sherman show is set to release sometime in 2018. The series started one year after the theatrical release of ‘Mr. Peabody & Sherman’, a film following the time-travelling adventures of a highly intelligent dog and his adopted son. The characters are originally from the 1960s TV show ‘The Rocky and Bullwinkle Show’. This Netflix series takes a slighly different route to the film and features the duo hosting a TV talk show, coving the many time-related stories they have to tell.

Voltron: Legendary Defender – Season 5

Unconfirmed date sometime in 2018

Originally based on the 1980s animated series ‘Voltron: Defender of the Universe’, this new Dreamworks series uses a mix of traditional animation techniques influenced by anime (only using CG for the action scenes). The first season debuted on Netflix in 2016 and since then they’ve done a great job of producing and releasing another 3 series during 2017. The show follows five teenagers who quickly get wrapped up in a huge intergalactic war after becoming the Paladins of Voltron. The 1980s series is also available to stream on Netflix right now.

The show follows Jim Lake Jr. (voiced by the late Anton Yelchin) an ordinary kid who, as most kids do, yearns for adventure. But after Jim finds a mysterious amulet, he is given the role of “Trollhunter” and transported to the secret civilization of Arcadia where he must fend off the evil Darkland trolls. The show has picked up significant traction with both adults and kids and its third and last season will debut sometime in 2018.

Unconfirmed date sometime in 2018

Based on the 1985-87 show ‘She-Ra: Princess of Power’ this new modern take is set to appeal to a new generation of young fans. The 80s show was originally created to fill the demand for a badass female fantasy hero, and it defiantly did so. The new series will be produced by the award-winning and great Noelle Stevenson, so we have no doubt this re-imagining will be great.
