Welcome to your comprehensive updated look ahead at what’s coming to Netflix throughout September 2025. In this post, which we’ll keep updated throughout August and well into September, we’ll be listing all the new arrivals set for Netflix US, including new Netflix Originals and licensed pick-ups from Netflix’s various partners.
As always, while we’ll cover the new additions below, we’re also tracking all the departures for September 2025. The fan-favorite series The Resident is among the currently announced removals, in addition to a bunch of movies for all ages.

- 60 Days In (Season 8) – Reality series.
- 8 Mile (2002) – Drama about a struggling Detroit rapper, starring Eminem, Kim Basinger, and Brittany Murphy. Directed by Curtis Hanson.
- Abducted on Prom Night (2023) – Lifetime thriller about Kimber and her friends on prom night who become hostages.
- Billy Madison (1995) – Adam Sandler comedy about a spoiled man-child repeating school to inherit a business. Directed by Tamra Davis.
- Boyz n the Hood (1991) – John Singleton’s acclaimed drama on life in South Central LA starring Cuba Gooding Jr., Ice Cube, and Laurence Fishburne.
- Bram Stoker’s Dracula (1992) – Francis Ford Coppola’s gothic horror starring Gary Oldman, Winona Ryder, Keanu Reeves, and Anthony Hopkins.
- Bridesmaids (2011) – Comedy with Kristen Wiig, Maya Rudolph, and Melissa McCarthy about chaotic pre-wedding events. Directed by Paul Feig.
- Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005) – Tim Burton’s adaptation of Roald Dahl’s novel starring Johnny Depp and Freddie Highmore.
- Chicken Run (2000) – Aardman stop-motion comedy about escaping chickens, voiced by Mel Gibson and Julia Sawalha.
- Dennis the Menace (1993) – Family comedy starring Mason Gamble as Dennis and Walter Matthau as Mr. Wilson, with Christopher Lloyd.
- Devil on Campus: The Larry Ray Story (2024) – Lifetime movie starring Billy Zane who plays a charming ex-con who moves into his daughter’s dorm and pulls her friends into his web of torment.
- E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (1982) – Steven Spielberg classic about a boy befriending an alien, starring Henry Thomas and Drew Barrymore.
- Edge of Tomorrow (2014) – Sci-fi action starring Tom Cruise and Emily Blunt about soldiers fighting aliens with a time loop twist. Directed by Doug Liman.
- Escape Room (2019) – Psychological horror movie where six strangers find themselves in a maze of deadly rooms. Starring Taylor Russell and Logan Miller.
- Franklin & Bash (Seasons 1-4) – Dramedy courtroom drama following lawyers and childhood friends who have unorthodox legal techniques that disrupt a traditional law firm.
- Good Advice (2001) – Comedy about a stockbroker turned advice columnist starring Charlie Sheen, Denise Richards, and Angie Harmon.
- Hot Shots! (1991) – Spoof of Top Gun starring Charlie Sheen as an ace pilot. Directed by Jim Abrahams.
- Hot Shots! Part Deux (1993) – Parody of Rambo films with Charlie Sheen and Lloyd Bridges, directed by Jim Abrahams.
- Inglourious Basterds (2009) – Quentin Tarantino’s WWII tale starring Brad Pitt, Christoph Waltz, and Mélanie Laurent.
- Inside Man (2006) – Spike Lee’s heist thriller starring Denzel Washington, Clive Owen, and Jodie Foster.
- Inside Man: Most Wanted (2019) – Sequel following a negotiator tackling a heist starring Aml Ameen and Rhea Seehorn.
- Karen Kingsbury’s A Thousand Tomorrows (Season 1) – A guarded bull rider and an ambitious barrel racer fall in love, knowing that they must make the most of the time they have together.
- Knocked Up (2007) – Judd Apatow comedy starring Seth Rogen and Katherine Heigl about an unexpected pregnancy.
- La La Land (2016) – Romantic musical starring Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, directed by Damien Chazelle.
- The Land Before Time (1988) – Don Bluth’s animated dinosaur adventure produced by Steven Spielberg and George Lucas.
- Liar Liar (1997) – Jim Carrey comedy about a lawyer forced to tell the truth for 24 hours. Directed by Tom Shadyac.
- Limitless (2011) – Thriller about a brain-enhancing pill starring Bradley Cooper and Robert De Niro. Directed by Neil Burger.
- Long Shot (2019) – Romantic comedy with Seth Rogen as a journalist and Charlize Theron as a politician. Directed by Jonathan Levine.
- Money Talks (1997) – Action-comedy starring Chris Tucker and Charlie Sheen about a hustler caught in a diamond smuggling plot.
- Ms. Rachel (Collection 2) – A new batch of episodes from the YouTube sensation.

- Orphan Black (Seasons 1–5) – Sci-fi thriller series starring Tatiana Maslany as multiple clones uncovering a conspiracy.
- Paddington (2014) – Family film about the lovable bear moving to London, starring Hugh Bonneville, Sally Hawkins, and Ben Whishaw as the voice of Paddington.
- Phantom Thread (2017) – Paul Thomas Anderson drama starring Daniel Day-Lewis as a dressmaker and Vicky Krieps as his muse.
- Puss in Boots (2011) – Shrek spinoff following the cat voiced by Antonio Banderas, with Salma Hayek and Zach Galifianakis.
- Shark Tale (2004) – Animated undersea comedy featuring voices of Will Smith, Angelina Jolie, Jack Black, and Robert De Niro.
- Sherlock Holmes (2009) – Guy Ritchie’s action take on the detective starring Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law.
- Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows (2011) – Sequel starring Downey Jr. and Jude Law, with Jared Harris as Moriarty.
- Shrek (2001) – Animated fairy-tale comedy with Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, and Cameron Diaz. Won the first Best Animated Feature Oscar.
- Shrek 2 (2004) – Sequel expanding the fairy-tale parody, introducing Antonio Banderas as Puss in Boots.
- Shrek Forever After (2010) – Fourth installment where Shrek makes a fateful deal with Rumpelstiltskin.
- Shrek the Third (2007) – Shrek searches for Fiona’s cousin Artie, voiced by Justin Timberlake, to inherit the throne.
- Stand by Me (1986) – Rob Reiner’s coming-of-age classic starring Wil Wheaton, River Phoenix, and Kiefer Sutherland. Based on Stephen King’s novella.
- The 4 Rascals (2025)
- The Amazing Spider-Man (2012) – Reboot starring Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man with Emma Stone and Rhys Ifans. Directed by Marc Webb.
- The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014) – Garfield returns as Spidey facing Jamie Foxx’s Electro and Dane DeHaan’s Goblin. Emma Stone co-stars.
- The Boy Next Door (2015) – Thriller starring Jennifer Lopez as a teacher in a dangerous fling with her young neighbor (Ryan Guzman).
- The Four Seasons (1981) – Comedy-drama following three couples’ seasonal vacations. Directed by and starring Alan Alda with Carol Burnett.
- The Rookie (1990) – Buddy cop film starring Clint Eastwood and Charlie Sheen, directed by Eastwood.
- The Running Man (1987) – Dystopian action starring Arnold Schwarzenegger in a deadly game show, based on Stephen King’s novel.
- We’re the Millers (2013) – Comedy about a fake family smuggling drugs starring Jason Sudeikis, Jennifer Aniston, and Emma Roberts.
- White Noise (2005) – Michael Keaton and Deborah Kara Unger headline this supernatural horror.
- Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory (1971) – Musical fantasy based on Roald Dahl’s novel starring Gene Wilder as Willy Wonka.

- Countdown: Canelo v Crawford (Season 1) Netflix Original – Docu-series following the upcoming fight on Netflix narrated by Josh Brolin and Diego Luna.

- Pokémon Concierge (Season 1 – Part 2) Netflix Original – More stop-motion goodness in the world of Pokémon.
- Strange Frequencies: Taiwan Killer Hospital (2024) – Horror about a streamer who is streaming her on a ghost hunt.
- The Blackening (2023) – Slasher horror comedy about seven friends who go away for the weekend and find themselves being hunted.

- Inspector Zende (2025) Netflix Original – Bollywood drama about a serial killer, Carl Bhojraj, who has escaped prison and resurfaces in Mumbai, but an inspector is already on his trail.

Looking ahead to October, there are a few big titles already scheduled, such as She Walks in Darkness, Steve, A HOUSE OF DYNAMITE, and The Monster of Florence, with plenty more to look forward to throughout the rest of the year.
