What’s the movie 6 Underground about?

The movie is an action thriller that is about six billionaires forming an elite vigilante squad after they fake their deaths.

Think of it a bit like The Italian Job mixed with Bad Boys and The Fast and Furious.

Netflix only has one tag for the movie so far and that’s “exciting”.

The movie was first announced in May 2018 and began filming soon after. It comes from the same studio that produced Altered Carbon and Grace and Frankie for Netflix.

Who’s directing 6 Underground for Netflix?

The king of explosions takes the reign of 6 Underground and we’re of course referring to Michael Bay. The sometimes controversial director has an impressive back library with the Transformers library being the obvious go-to but also has had a hand in titles like Bad Boys, Armageddon, and The Purge.

The filming for Six Underground actually wrapped up in December 2018. That means Netflix has been specifically lining this movie up for the winter of 2019 for quite some time.

You can see some of the fast-paced car scenes taking place in Florence, Italy. The filming looks to have taken place in Italy throughout the last few months of 2018.
