Netflix’s long-running baking sensation is expanding its spooky lineup once again. Today, the streamer has revealed that Is It Cake? Halloween has been officially renewed for a second season and is set to premiere globally on Netflix on Friday, October 9, 2026.
Just in time for spooky season, the official logline for the upcoming special event teases even bigger and more terrifying bakes:
“Is It Cake? Halloween rises from the grave with Mikey Day and six wickedly talented hyper-realistic cake artists! These creeptacular bakers push their skills to the limit, creating the largest, spookiest cakes designed to trick celebrity judges. With a huge cash prize and the title of Is It Cake? Halloween Champion on the line, the stakes have never been higher. Who will survive this deliciously deadly showdown?”
The new season will consist of three 40-minute episodes, making it a quick and highly bingeable weekend watch leading up to Halloween.
Who is hosting and baking in Season 2?
Fan-favorite Saturday Night Live alum Mikey Day is returning to the kitchen to host the mayhem, bringing his signature chaotic energy to the Halloween festivities. He will be joined by six returning hyper-realistic cake artists ready to compete for the ultimate cash prize:

Who are the Guest Judges for Season 2?
Half the fun of Is It Cake? is watching celebrities lose their minds trying to figure out if a severed hand or a bubbling cauldron is actually made of fondant and vanilla sponge. This season features an incredibly fun lineup of guest judges, including a mini Wednesday cast reunion in episode 2!
