Jingle Bell Heist is an upcoming Netflix Original Christmas crime-comedy directed by Michael Fimognari (The Fall of the House of Usher) and written by Abby McDonald. The script first came to prominence through its featuring on the Black List 2022, the annual list of the best unproduced scripts.
The film is produced by Matt Kaplan and Ace Entertainment. Braden Bochner, Chriss Foos, and Mark Lane are the executive producers. The Netflix release comes quite some time after it wrapped filming. Principal photography took place from mid-December 2023 through mid-February 2025. It was filmed primarily in London, England, which is also where the story is set.

Netflix has provided a synopsis for Jingle Bell Heist, which has a runtime of 1 hour and 36 minutes:
“Sophia (Olivia Holt), a sharp-witted retail worker, and Nick (Connor Swindells), a down-on-his-luck repairman, are small-time thieves with their eyes on the same Christmas Eve score: robbing London’s most notorious department store. Forced into an uneasy alliance, as secrets surface and feelings for each other deepen, Sophia and Nick put their relationship and the heist in jeopardy.”
Who are the cast members of Jingle Bell Heist?
Olivia Holt plays Sophia. MCU fans should be familiar with the actress for her portrayal as Tandy Bowen, aka Dagger, in the Cloak & Dagger and Runaways series. She has also starred in films such as Heart Eyes, Totally Killer, and Class Rank.
Connor Swindells plays Nick. Netflix subscribers will be familiar with Swindles for his role as Adam Groff in all four seasons of Sex Education and the film Scoop. He also starred in the Barbie film and MGM’s Rogue Heroes series.
