KPop Demon Hunters racks up yet another accolade for its trophy case. After a staggering run that has completely rewritten the Netflix data history books, KPop: Demon Hunters has officially spent a full 52 weeks in the Netflix Global Top 10 for the week ending June 21st, 2026.
Hitting week 52, the animated juggernaut officially rings in its one-year anniversary on the platform (having originally premiered on June 20, 2025) without ever dropping out of the charts. The Netflix Original continues its historic streak, having spent 52 consecutive weeks in the English Films Top 10, amassing a jaw-dropping 1.066.2 billion viewing hours and 639.3 million completed views.
If you’ve been following our weekly top 10 reports, you’ll know that KPop: Demon Hunters has been the ultimate anomaly. Keeping momentum in the Netflix top 10 for a month is a massive win for most originals; staying for a full calendar year is practically unheard of.

Just to put this run further into perspective, here’s the line graph compared against a few of Netflix’s other biggest movies in its history:
The Movie Is Still In The Daily Top 10s Too
Don’t expect the movie to vanish from the platform’s algorithm anytime soon. As of the time of publishing, KPop: Demon Hunters is still stubbornly clinging to the charts in dozens of regions as it cements its 52-week streak.
Looking at FlixPatrol’s daily tracking for this week, the movie is still popping in and out of the overall Top 10 Movies chart in European regions like Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Serbia.
However, its real stronghold remains the Kids Top 10 Movies charts. It is an absolute force of nature there, refusing to leave. As of today, it is currently sitting comfortably in the Top 5 in major markets, including Canada, France, Japan, South Korea, Italy, and Australia. It’s also holding incredibly steady at #6 in the US and #8 in the UK.
What’s Next for the Franchise?
While the film just cemented a full year in the weekly global top 10 charts, the hype train is far from slowing down. The movie’s unprecedented milestone comes right as it hit yet another massive viewership milestone ahead of its one-year anniversary hitting 1B viewing hours.
All this week, Netflix is celebrating its one-year anniversary with new announcements, including product and experience launches, as well as the movie’s return to theaters. You can catch all those announcements as they happen on our live blog.
That’s in addition to other recent announcements, such as the real-life KPop: Demon Hunters global concert tour, which is officially in the works, bringing the film’s neon-soaked, demon-slaying anthems to stages worldwide.
More importantly, the story isn’t over. A sequel has been officially confirmed, with original directors Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans locked in to return and helm the next chapter of the hit animated franchise.
