The Blacklist’s Mozhan Navabi joins the cast of Netflix’s upcoming limited-series Zero Day.

Mozhan Navabi has been cast in a recurring role in Zero Day, portraying the character of Melissa Kornblau. She joins cast members Robert De Niro (Cape Fear), Jesse Plemons (Breaking Bad), Lizzy Caplan (Masters of Sex), Angela Bassett (Black Panther), Connie Britton (Nashville), Joan Allen (Room), Dan Stevens (Downton Abbey), Matthew Modine (Full Metal Jacket), Clark Gregg (Avengers), McKinley Belcher III (Marriage Story), and Cuyle Carvin (NCIS: Los Angeles), and Bill Clamp (Joker).

Navabi is most well known for her role as Samar Navabi in NBC’s The Blacklist. She joined the cast in the second season and took part in 103 episodes before leaving the series midway through the sixth season. She returned in a guest role for the 104th and last episode in the ninth season.

Before The Blacklist, Navabi starred in eleven episodes of Netflix’s House of Cards, where she played the role of Ayla Sayyad for eleven episodes. She has since starred in the Fox miniseries Pam & Tommy as Gail Chwatsky, Hulu’s Fleishman Is in Trouble as Nahid, and an episode of Law & Order.
