After nine rounds of Ragnarok, the gods find themselves once again on the brink of being able to eradicate the human race. Record of Ragnarok continues to deliver, and fans will already be excited for the prospect of season 4. Renewal has not yet been announced, but we’re confident we’ll see more of Record of Ragnarok on Netflix in the near future.

Record of Ragnarok is a Japanese Netflix Original anime series and the adaptation of the manga by Shinya Umeura and Takumi Fukui. Graphinica produced the first season of the anime. However, the second season switched production over to the Yuneta Company, which is responsible for the most recent Digimon films.

When the gods decide it’s time to eradicate the human race, humanity is given one last chance at survival by competing in a tournament against 13 gods, where the greatest minds and warriors in human history will take on the gods in mortal combat. In order to survive, humanity must win 7 out of the 13 rounds.

Has Record of Ragnarok been renewed for a fourth season?

Official Netflix Renewal Status: Pending (Last Updated: 10/12/2025)

At the time of writing, there is no confirmation that Record of Ragnarok has been renewed for a fourth season. Given that the third season has just landed on Netflix, it’s understandable why nothing has been announced as of yet. Given that there is still more source material to adapt and the anime’s popularity, we fully expect a renewal.

When is Record of Ragnarok season 4 coming to Netflix?

It’s challenging to determine when Record of Ragnarok season 4 will be available on Netflix.

Fans waited 19 months between the release of the first and second seasons (part two of the second season was released six months later). The wait for the third season was even longer, taking almost 29 months.

We hope work on the fourth season is already underway, which will significantly shorten the wait. There’s a strong possibility we’ll see the fourth season on Netflix in 2027.
