Ru-Pauls Drag Race All Stars season 4 has been delayed from release on Netflix in the United Kingdom. It comes after fans were expecting all of the episodes from season 4 of the special season to arrive on Saturday, June 26th.

The RuPaul Drag Race franchise has found itself a new exclusive home on Netflix UK in recent years with Netflix picking up the main series with weekly episodes as well as spin-offs such as the Holi-Slay Spectacular and Untucked!.

The All-Stars spinoff essentially brings back some of the biggest stars of the shows past 10 seasons and other well-known Drag Stars for a special season.

Two days ago, Netflix UK reiterated once again that season 4 was due to arrive on the Saturday in a tweet with some frequently asked questions:

Saturday morning arrived and at 8 AM RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars was nowhere to be seen. At 9:47 AM, Netflix UK responded to this FAQ Tweet with the following:

We have some news you won’t like. All Stars 4 has been delayed and won’t be dropping this weekend. It’s hard to explain licensing law in a tweet (/the person writing this doesn’t really understand it) but it’s to do with that. Will let you know the new date when we can.

As they say in the Tweet, no new Netflix release date has been announced as of yet. Sometimes with delays, we can see titles then release a matter of days or sometimes weeks while it gets hammered out between Netflix and the respective license holder.

Many regions of Netflix around the world already have access to RuPaul’s Drag Race: All-Stars season 4 including Spain, Switzerland, Singapore, Russia, France, Argentina, Germany Belgium and many more.

Are you disappointed Netflix hasn’t added All Stars to Netflix today? When do you think it’ll eventually get added? Let us know in the comments.
