What’s New on Netflix UK This Week: Netflix’s ‘The Four Seasons’, ‘Mean Girls’ & ‘Black Adam’

It’s the start of a new month, which means 42 new movies and television shows have been added to the Netflix UK library. This includes the arrival of Netflix’s TV adaptation of The Four Seasons, the return of Mean Girls, and the DC movie Black Adam.

First of all, here are the week’s highlights:

Tina Fey is behind the television adaptation of the beloved 1980s romcom, and stars the likes of Tina Fey, Colman Domingo, and Steve Carell. 

Three married couples from the suburbs regularly go on vacation. However, their idealistic friendship and vacation are thrown into chaos when one couple splits, and the husband’s new, much younger girlfriend accompanies him.

On Wednesdays, we wear pink. Mean Girls is an iconic teen comedy of the mid-2000s that every Millennial and Gen X kid grew up watching.

Cady Heron, who has lived her life being homeschooled, finally gets the opportunity to attend a public high school. After grabbing the attention of “The Plastics,” the school’s rich girl clique, she is given an education on the hierarchy of high school life.

While the DCEU will move in a bold new direction with James Gunn now at the helm, Dwayne Johnson had wanted to play Black Adam for years and had one of the last films of DC’s first cinematic universe.

Entombed by the gods of Egypt for 5,000 years, Black Adam is finally freed from his tomb and unleashes his own brand of justice upon the 21st-century world.
