This will be the fourth major animated sitcom Netflix has released onto the service right behind Bojack Horseman, now in its fourth season, F is for Family which just got renewed for season 3 and Pacific Heat which seems to be on hiatus.
Newly animated sitcoms are desperately needed on Netflix thanks to Fox pulling all of its shows from Netflix. Fox has been known for its shows such as Family Guy, The Simpsons,
Who is behind the show?
Nick Kroll and Andrew Goldberg are the two main people behind the show. Nick Kroll, you’ll know from titles such as The League, Parks and Recreation and his other show he created, Kroll Show on Comedy Central. Andrew Goldberg is a writer and has credits on Family Guy and has authored many books.
The animation is being done by Titmouse Inc who have created Netflix shows such as Turbo FAST and Home: Adventures with Tip and Oh. They’ve also worked for networks such as MTV, Adult Swim, Nickelodeon, and Disney.
What’s the show about?
The show will be split focussing on two young teenagers who are now coming of age. It’ll play on all the bits you associated with growing up in your teen years going through puberty. The show will focus on Andrew along with Nick who will be getting up to all kinds of mischief. Please note, I’m trying desperately to remain modest but the show won’t be so kind. On the flipside, it’ll focus on Jessi, a young girl who gets a visit from the hormone monster.
Expect lots of crass jokes, penis jokes and anything else you’d associate with this style of show.

Nick Kroll will also be starring prominently as he plays Nick who is the best friend of Andrew. Andrew will be played by John Mulaney, best known for his work on SNL and his stand-up specials. Jessi Klein will play the role of Jessi and Maya Rudolph will play the role of the Hormone Monster.
