How has the series performed domestically and on Netflix?
Agent Kim Reactivated has been a smash hit both domestically in South Korea and internationally on Netflix.
In South Korea, the series launched with a nationwide viewership of 9.5%. By the eighth episode, the audience had grown exponentially to 23.1%. A huge success for the K-drama domestically.
As for Netflix, the series has also been a hit with audiences. Since its release on June 26, 2026, the series has spent 4 weeks on Netflix’s Non-English Global Top 10 list, ranking 1st for 3 of those weeks. In that time, the series has amassed 189.4 million viewing hours, which equates to 34.4 million completed views.
| Week in Top 10 | Week Period | Hours Viewed | Views / CVE | Weekly Rank |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Jun 21 to Jun 28, 2026 | 14,200,000 (New) | 6,600,000 | 3 |
| 2 | Jun 28 to Jul 5, 2026 | 44,100,000 (+211%) | 10,500,000 | 1 |

So how does the series compare to other weekly K-dramas? Well, the series has outperformed all other weekly K-dramas released on Netflix so far in 2026, and after 4 weeks has almost doubled the number of views of the closest competitor, My Royal Nemesis.
Thanks to how the series has performed thus far, it’s not hard to see why Agent Kim Reactivated will inevitably be renewed for a second season.
How much of the webtoon has Agent Kim Reactivated adapted so far?
So far, the K-drama has adapted roughly 45 out of the 251 webtoon chapters. Suffice it to say, there is a lot of source material left to adapt, which means Agent Kim Reactivated could be on our screens beyond season 2, provided the series continues to be a ratings hit.
