December 2024 marked the significant exodus of games from the Netflix library, and since then, thankfully, removals have been few and far between. However, two games are set to depart in the coming weeks, according to new notices on Netflix.
Let’s run through each of the games:
- Flutter Butterflies – First released on Netflix on November 1, 2022, this simulation game is developed by Runaway Play, where you discover and raise butterflies in a habitat of your design. It’s got good reviews across the app stores, with one calling it “so relaxing to pass the time.”
- Steel Paws – This is a headscratcher, given that it’s a relatively recent release, given that it only dropped on March 25th, 2025. Developed by YS Net, the action game has garnered over 50,000 downloads on the Google Play Store and is described as a beat-’em-up action adventure set in a fantasy world.
The two games currently display removal notices within the Netflix app itself. Steel Paws’ notice states that your “Last day to play” is on November 4th, while Flutter Butterflies is leaving a little sooner, on October 30th.

We should add an asterisk to these removals, given that Civilization VI was also recently set to depart Netflix; however, the removal notice was eventually removed, and the game continues to be playable past its initial removal date. That implies it has been renewed, and these two games could follow suit.
We reached out to Netflix about these removals, as well as the renewal of Civilization VI, yesterday, and have yet to receive a response.
Netflix’s game library currently comprises exactly 100 mobile and cloud titles (with some titles appearing on both platforms), including recent releases such as Missile Command: Recharged on Cloud and Underwatermelon: Fruit Merge on mobile.
Upcoming games include Football Manager 26 Mobile on November 4th, as well as kids’ games such as PAW Patrol Academy, Toca Boca Hair Salon 4, LEGO DUPLO World, and tie-ins for the new Dr. Seuss shows on Netflix all confirmed for release at some point. Titles in testing include Netflix Puzzled and Spirit Crossing, plus a few more we can’t talk about.
Will you be disappointed to see either of these games leave Netflix? Let us know in the comments.
