Netflix’s games library has just served up a delightfully messy new addition for younger gamers. Toca Boca Jr Kitchen is now officially available to download on iOS and Android devices, included entirely free with your Netflix subscription. It marks the second Toca Boca title to jump into the Netflix games library.
If you have a young chef in the house, it’s time to let them loose in a kitchen where there are zero consequences for culinary disasters. Created by the acclaimed kid-friendly developer Toca Boca, this new release is an open-ended cooking simulator that encourages experimentation, creativity, and a whole lot of weird food combos.
As always with Netflix Games, the app comes with no in-app purchases, no extra fees, and crucially for a kids’ game—no third-party advertising.
Here is the official description of what you can expect from Toca Boca Jr Kitchen:
“Create weird and wonderful recipes for guests in this open-ended cooking game for kids. Spaghetti smoothie? Deep-fried watermelon? Go ahead, try it!
Toca Boca Jr Kitchen invites all young chefs to get messy and start playing. With three guests to cook for, a kitchen full of different tools to use and countless food combinations to test out, the possibilities are infinite.
GET CREATIVE IN THE KITCHEN
Who said meals have to look good — or taste good? In Toca Boca Jr Kitchen, you can cook however you want! Boil a salad, juice a shrimp or fry up a pineapple. Come up with your very own recipes and treat your guests to something special.”
Players can choose from five different kitchen tools to chop, sauté, or simply load everything into a juicer. The real fun, however, comes from serving up your masterpieces—like an “oven-baked fish head with fried leftovers and lettuce juice”—and watching your guests react.
Key features for the game include:
- Three characters to feed, each with their own unique likes and dislikes.
- A fully stocked fridge featuring ingredients ranging from oranges to octopus.
- Five interactive kitchen tools.
- Open-ended, kid-directed fun with absolutely no rules or stress.
This marks the second collaboration between Netflix and the wildly popular app developer. Toca Boca Jr Kitchen follows the highly successful launch of Toca Boca Hair Salon 4 NETFLIX, which hit the platform back in 2025.
It’s been a busy stretch for Netflix’s gaming division in 2026. The streamer has been actively bulking up its family-friendly and multiplayer offerings. Just recently, we got word of an upcoming Netflix Minigolf Party Game that will feature themed courses based on massive hit shows like Squid Game, Stranger Things, and Bridgerton due out on TV devices at the end of the month. That’s in addition to the big update to Netflix Playground, which just saw PJ Masks: Save the Night join the growing roster alongside the likes of KPop Demon Hunters and Sesame Street.
