Ozark Renewed For Season3

Ozark has been officially confirmed for season 3 at Netflix after a tease from the shows main star yesterday on Twitter.

The announcement for season 3 has been slow to come as we’ve now waited just over a month for a third season announcement. Deadline confirmed on October 10th Ozark is coming back with the same showrunner from season 2.

Season 2 left us with plenty of questions going into season 3 which will no doubt be answered.

Jason Bateman teases and reveals Ozark Season 3

The third season was teased yesterday by Jason Bateman who plays Marty as well as being one of the directors and executive producers for the show. The question posed yesterday on Twitter was whether Jason should get working on season 3 with two options available. The two options were “Yes, absolutely” and “Is this even a question?”.

The tweet suggested a season 3 announcement was just around the corner and as you now know, it’s on the way.

In the confirmation Tweet, Jason expressed his concern for Marty which could suggest more hardship is set for season 3 of the show.

No date announcement came in today’s announcement but we’re expecting the series to follow the following season’s release schedule and arrive during 2019.

A no-brainer renewal for Netflix

The third season was a no-brainer for Netflix as the series has been a massive success for the streaming service and often compared to be Netflix’s Breaking Bad. Netflix never releases audience data for its shows but given the Google Trends analysis, the show grew its following considerably for season 2.

We’ll be back in the next month with a complete preview of season 3 which we’ll keep update right until the release of season 3 including any casting news, story and plot predictions, filming schedules and of course, the release date.
