Despite each season having a similar premise, the show is still quite popular for the network. That’s despite having dropped 4 million viewers since season 1. The series sees Annalise Keating and her pupils become entwined with murder plots.
Season 5 sees Annalise Keating return to school after having downtime last season. We’re also getting the Coliver wedding plus there’s plenty of new faces in the new season too including Rome Flynn.

How to Get Away with Murder Season 5 Netflix US Release Date
Most ABC shows come out just before new seasons drop but for whatever reason, Netflix has managed to get new seasons of How to Get Away with Murder much sooner.
We were expecting the new series to be available come April 2019 but the Netflix gods have granted us earlier access than usual with the release date for season 5 now scheduled for March 30th, 2019.
Other Regions Release Dates
According to Unogs, every tracked Netflix region carries How to Get Away with Murder. While each regions release date will be different, it’s likely most will get throughout 2019 or 2020. Netflix secured the worldwide streaming rights to the show back in 2015.
If you’re in the United Kingdom, season 4 has yet to be added. We’re expecting that to arrive in December 2018 and season 5 then added a year later. For Australians, you can expect a similar release schedule to that of the UK.
For Canadians, we’re currently expecting season 5 to be added in August 2019.
Of course, in the meantime, you can catch the shows main star Viola Davis in Marvel’s Luke Cage which is streaming right now on Netflix although it recently got canceled.
Also, Shonda Rhimes who serves as executive producer on this show and Grey’s Anatomy recently signed an exclusive deal bringing all her future content exclusively to Netflix.
