In a world where there’s perhaps too much politics (especially as of late) you’d think shows like Madam Secretary wouldn’t be as successful as it is. Season 3 of the show is widely considered the show’s best yet, so let’s take a look at when Madam Secretary season 3 will be on Netflix.
The show, which starts airing each fall on CBS, is a political show where Dr. Elizabeth McCord (played by TeaLoni) who’s fighting to keep her personal life afloat as she performs her role as secretary of state after being a teacher. It’s also considered to be a thriller thanks to the role of Secretary of State dealing with international affairs.
The show could be compared to House of Cards and The West Wing to an extent but honestly, that would be selling this show short as it more than stands on its own two feet.
The show has been on Netflix since 2015 although the release schedule has altered slightly. The show airs on CBS in the fall with season 1 starting in September and season 2 and 3 of the show airing in October. The first season arrived on Netflix in September 2015 a month before the new season debuted. The second season arrived much earlier in July 2016.
Given the change in rotation, we’re going to guess that the latter season is the better indication as to when we’ll get season 3. With that said, we predict that season 3 of Madam Secretary will be on Netflix in July 2017.
The CBS All-Access platform also holds some episodes of the show but rumors of CBS making all of their content exclusive on their platform could throw a spanner in the works for our prediction above. Thankfully, a deal between CBS subsidiary The CW shows that it may not be an issue. We’ll obviously keep an eye on things and let you know whether that changes.
For those in the United Kingdom, NowTV has the show available but only one season. That means it’s pretty unlikely we’ll see it streaming in your region.
