Welcome to your first look at what Netflix has in store for you for the final month of 2019. This ongoing post will be looking into everything scheduled to release on Netflix in the US throughout December 2019. 

As always, Netflix gives but it also loses plenty of titles. Two big Disney titles are due to depart throughout December including Star Wars Episode 8 and Thor Ragnarok. We’ll also see the departure of the entire BBC Earth library and BBC’s Merlin.

  • Morphle (Season 1) – Kids series about Mila turning playtime into fun and educational adventures.
  • No Game No Life (Season 1) – Anime series from 2014 about two siblings growing up as pro-gamers.
  • Qismat (2018) – Punjabi romantic drama about a man who falls in love despite having a pre-arranged marriage.
  • Searching for Sugar Man (2012) – The quest to find out more on the mysterious rock n roll star Rodriguez.
  • Sonic X (Season 1 & 2) – The animated Japanese series based on the super-fast hedgehog and friends.

  • Suits (Season 1) – South Korean adaptation of the USA Network show.
  • Sweet Virginia (2017) – The Punisher’s Jon Bernthal stars in this IFC movie about a former rodeo champ befriends a young man with a propensity for violence.

  • Tee Shot: Ariya Jatuanguarn – Biopic about a pro golfer’s journey to the LPGA tour and becoming ranked #1.
  • The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl (2005) – Children’s movie about two young superheroes.
  • The Tribes of Palos Verdes (2017) – A teenager finds solace in surfing after her mother and twin brother hit hard times.
  • Wandering Stars – Navigating creative pressures and personal upsets, French rapper Nekfeu sets out on a global quest for musical inspiration in this documentary.

  • Los Briceño (Season 1) N – Spanish romantic TV drama about a girl trying to make a career in trucking.
  • The Last O.G. (Season 2) – Tracy Morgan stars in this TBS comedy about a criminal released to find a changed world.
  • The Prince of Tennis ~ Match! Tennis Juniors ~ (2019) N – A tennis whiz beats the odds to excel on the court while juggling school and inspiring teammates. Based on the hit manga series by Takeshi Konomi.

  • Greenleaf (Season 4) – Oprah Winfrey’s networks flagship returns for its fourth outing.
  • Home for Christmas (Season 1) N – Norwiegen Christmas series
  • V-Wars (Season 1) N – Ian Somerhalder stars in this upcoming vampire series where they tackle a deadly outbreak that sees a war between humans and vampires.

  • Astronomy Club (Season 1) N – Sketch comedy series featuring a New York based improv and sketch troupe.
  • Banana Island Ghost (2017) – Nollywood comedy where a man gets three days to find his soul mate.
  • Fuller House (Season 5 – Part 1) N – The beginning of the end for the Tanners journey on Netflix.
  • Glow Up (Season 1) N – In this competition show, aspiring makeup artists navigate colorful challenges to win a career-making opportunity in the beauty industry.

  • MFKZ (2019) – French animated movie with English dub about abou a teenage slacker trying to save the world.

  • Sweetheart (2019) – Blumhouse movie about Jenn who finds her self isolated on a small tropical island.
