Minamida Minami, who has autism spectrum disorder (ASD), graduates at the top of her class from the University of Tokyo’s Faculty of Law and also achieves the highest score on the bar examination. However, when she begins searching for a job, she runs up against the barrier of society’s prejudice toward people with autism spectrum disorder. Despite her outstanding credentials, she is unable to secure a position at any law firm. Then, for a certain reason, she is hired by Hirokawa & Howard Law Firm, one of the top firms in the industry.
However, because Minami has difficulty reading other people’s emotions and communicating with them, as well as adapting to unexpected situations, those around her view her with prejudice, believing that there is no way she could possibly deal directly with clients. Minami herself is also uncertain whether she is capable of working as a lawyer. Even so, armed with her love of the law and her extraordinary memory, and with the help of her colleagues, she takes on one difficult case after another.
At the same time, a succession of events that profoundly shake Minami’s life awaits her, including experiencing romantic feelings for the first time and discovering secrets hidden within her family….

Ashida Mana plays Minamida Minami. The actress has yet to star in a Netflix series, but three shows she previously starred in can be found on the streaming service: Cells at Work, Antarctica, and The Greatest Teacher. She’s also due to star in the incredibly anticipated live-action adaptation of The Apothecary Diaries, where she will play the lead role of Maomao.

Takahashi Fumiya plays Funai Minato. Like his co-star, Takahashi has yet to star in a Netflix series, but the actor can be found in a handful of titles available in the library: Dearest, Until the T-Shirt Dies, Fermat’s Cuisine, I Will Be Your Bloom, Why I Dress Up for Love, and Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King.
