A tale of drunken debauchery, drug-fueled parties, and groupies. It can only be another biopic about an insane rock band. Arguably the most notorious of them all, Motley Crue’s biopic is finally arriving on Netflix! Here’s everything you need to know about the Motley Crue biopic The Dirt on Netflix.

The Dirt is a Netflix Original biopic based on the book of the same name. The members of Motley Crue (Tommy Lee, Mick Mars, Vince Neil, and Nikki Sixx) released the autobiography in 2001 and it soon became a New York Times bestseller. The book chronicled the creation of the band and their rise to fame along with all the crazy antics that made them so notorious. A film based upon the book had been in demand for some time, but it came down the band members turning away studios until they felt the right one came along.
