Hilda Season 1 – Copyright Netflix
One of 2018’s most anticipated animated series for kids is arriving soon on Netflix. Season 1 of Hilda is coming to Netflix worldwide on September 21st, 2018 and we’ve got everything you need to know about the new season including what it’s about, the trailer if there’ll be future seasons and more.
The new series is based on the comic of the same name by Author Luke Pearson and is being animated by Mercury Filmworks. The British comic has been adopted by Netflix and will stream exclusively on the streaming service from the 21st of September and will be available on every Netflix region. Resembling the world of 20th Century Scandinavia, “Hilda” art style takes inspiration from Scandinavian folklore and tales.
What is Hilda on Netflix about? Who wrote and directed each episode?
Hilda follows the adventures of a fearless blue-haired girl and her trusted Deerfox Twig. as they travel from her home in a vast magical wilderness full of elves and giants to the bustling city of Trolberg, where she meets new friends and mysterious creatures who are stranger, and more dangerous than she ever expected.
The show will take place over 13 episodes and we can expect each episode to be roughly 20 to 25 Minutes long.

Not exactly what you would call a star-studded cast but those with ears like a Bat may recognize the voice of Bella Ramsay who plays the role of fan favorite Lady Lyanna Mormont of Bear Island in Game of Thrones

Will there be a Season 2?
It’s possible but they’ll be creating their own Stories and Adventures for “Hilda” if they decide to go for Season two as most of the episodes listed in season one are adventures straight from the comic series. It would be great for Author Luke Pearson if they brought him on board to be a writer for the show but for now, watch this space and we’ll definitely be updating fans of the show if there will be a season 2!
