It’s time to set sail once more! Netflix just announced that the next highly anticipated arc of the One Piece anime, Egghead Island, will be streaming weekly on the streaming service from January 2024!
Between the success of the live-action adaptation, the anime remake announcement, movies, and hundreds of episodes available to stream, Netflix is fast becoming one of the best platforms in the world for One Piece content.
Despite missing all of the post-time skip episodes, Netflix is jumping with both feet into the final One Piece saga with the announcement that Egghead Island is coming to the platform weekly.
Starting with Chapter 1058 of the manga, the final saga of the second half of One Piece began on August 29th, 2022. It has taken just over 16 months for the anime to reach this point, with the first episode arriving on January 7th, 2024.
When is the One Piece Egghead Island Arc streaming on Netflix?
Fans won’t have to wait long. The Egghead Island Arc will begin streaming on Netflix weekly from January 13th, 2024!

Will The Egghead Island Arc be streaming in my country?
Other than the USA, it is currently unclear which countries will have access to stream episodes of the Egghead Island Arc.
What is the episode release schedule?
The Egghead Island Arc has already begun.
The first episode was broadcast in Japan and later on Crunchyroll on January 7th, 2024. The second episode will be released on Sunday, January 14th, 2024.
However, Netflix will not receive its first episode until January 13th, 2024. This heavily suggests that Netflix could be several days behind the release of the Japanese broadcast, with each new episode arriving six days after the original air date.
It is doubtful that Netflix will release episodes of the Egghead Island Arc ahead of the Japanese broadcast.
We won’t know until after the first week or two when the new arc begins streaming on Netflix.
Will more episodes of the One Piece anime be available on Netflix?
At the time of writing, the Marineford Arc just landed on Netflix. This leaves over 500 episodes and four whole sagas yet to be added.
We now expect even more episodes to arrive. However, it’s doubtful Netflix will receive hundreds of episodes at once.
It took three and a half years for Marineford Arc to arrive. One Piece fans could be waiting years before the arrival of Wano on the platform.
