Paradise PD Season 2: Renewal Status and Netflix Release Date

The creators of Brickleberry have successfully created a brand new Netflix show which just had its first season drop on Netflix. Season 2 of Paradise PD looks likely at this point but if you’re looking for everything on the next season, you’ve come to the right place. Here’s everything we know about season 2 of Paradise PD including its renewal status, release date and other snippets of information. 

Netflix has been in desperate need of new animated titles in the past few years since the removal of the entire Fox catalogue. The Fox library made up the majority of the adult animated content it had. It’s bolstered its content library in the sector recently with the likes of Bojack Horseman, Disenchantment and F is for Family. Obviously, the streaming service has made up some ground but there’s a long way to go.

The new season sees a son join the police force with his father who holds him in absolute contempt after ruining his marriage by shooting him in the balls. The series is just as absurd as Brickleberry that features plenty of profanity.

Paradise PD Creators on Season 2

Speaking with “Popternative” (see below) the show’s creators Roger Black and Waco O’Guin seemed optimistic about the prospect of season 2. Their best advice for fans wanting a renewal is to watch the show and tell all your friends.

When will season 2 be on Netflix?

Just to recap how the first season came about, the series was given a 10 episode first season order back in April 2018. That makes this a pretty slick operation but we don’t know how long the series was in development before Netflix picked it up.

Depending on how fast Netflix renews and how productive this studio really is, we’d likely see another season a year from now in August/September 2019.
